Abstract
Bu araştırma Gaziosmanpaşa Ortomedica Hastanesi Beslenme ve Diyet Polikliniğine zayıflama amacıyla başvuran 60 kadın olgu üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Bu çalışma; farklı kalsiyum kaynağı ve içeriklerine sahip zayıflama diyetlerinin ağırlık kaybı, bel-kalça çevresi, vücut yağı oranı ve yağsız vücut kütlesindeki değişiklikleri saptamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya obezite dışında herhangi bir sağlık problemi olmayan ve beden kütle indeksi (BKİ) >25 kg/m2olan kişiler dahil edilmiştir. Gebe, emzikli, Tip 1, Tip 2 DM tanısını almış olanlar, zayıflamaya yönelik ilaç kullananlar, endokrin, hepatik, renal bir hastalığı olanlar çalışma grubuna alınmamıştır. Bu araştırmada, olgular 15 kişiden oluşan dört gruba ayrılmış ve çalışma kapsamında olgular için dört ayrı beslenme program uygulanmıştır: 1.Grup(n=15): %55 karbonhidrat, %15 Protein, %30 yağ oranı ile az yağlı süt ve süt ürünlerinden oluşan 800 mg kalsiyum, 2.Grup (n=15): %55 karbonhidrat, %15 Protein, %30 yağ oranı ile tam yağlı süt ve süt ürünlerinden oluşan 800 mg kalsiyum, 3.Grup(n=15): %55 karbonhidrat, %15 Protein, %30 yağ oranı ile az yağlı süt ve süt ürünlerinden oluşan 1500 mg kalsiyum, 4.Grup (n=15): %55 karbonhidrat, %15 Protein, %30 yağ oranı ile tam yağlı süt ve süt ürünlerinden oluşan 1500 mg kalsiyum içeren zayıflama diyeti uygulanmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan kişilerin genel özelliklerini, beslenme alışkanlıkları ve fiziksel aktivite durumlarını belirlemek amacıyla oluşturulan anket formu diyetisyen eşliğinde doldurulmuştur. Kişilerin günlük kalsiyum tüketimi, günlük besin tüketim kaydı alınarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, Süt ve ürünlerinin içerdiği kalsiyumun ve/veya diğer besin öğelerinin enerji dengesini değiştirmeye katkıda bulunarak, BKİ'nin, vücut ağırlığının, vücut yağının, bel, kalça çevresinin düzenlemesinde rol oynadığı söylenebilir. The daily calcium consumption of the subjects was determined by recording the daily food consumption.
