Modanın Fütürizm Sanat Akımı ile Olan İlişkisi
Abstract
Fütürizm 20 Şubat 1909' da İtalyan şair Flippo Tommaso Marinetti tarafından Fütürizm Manifestosuyla ilan edilmiştir. Kelime anlamı 'gelecekçilik' olarak tanımlanmıştır. Akımı benimseyen sanatçılar tarafından çeşitli manifestolar yazılmıştır. Sanatçılar eserlerinde hızı, sürati, savaşı, kuvvet kavramını vurgulamışlardır.Fütürizm ilk etkisini 1. Dünya Savaşı ile göstermiştir. Yoksulluk, hammadde kıtlığı nedeniyle giysilerde önemli olan malzemelerin kullanımı durdurulmuş yerine farklı malzemeler kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Kağıt, cam, folyo, alüminyum gibi benzer malzemeler kullanılmıştır. Fütürizm akımından etkilenen tasarımcılar alışılagelmiş tasarımlardan kurtulmak istemişlerdir. Fütürizm beraberinde birçok alanda bu akımdan etkilenmeye başlamıştır. Yüzyıllar öncesine kadar dayanan moda kavramı fütürizm akımından oldukça etkilenmiştir. Fütüristler moda ve giyiminde kökten yıkılmasını istemişlerdir. Fütürizm akımı moda üzerinde ki etksini gösterirken teknolojinin gelişmesi geleneksel, kuralcı kıyafetlerin değişimleride başlamıştır. Bir çok tasarımcı da akımın etkisinde kalmıştır. Bu çalışmada, fütürizm akımının tarihsel süreçleri, akımın modayı nasıl etkilediğini, bu akımdan etkilenen moda tasarımcılarını ve günümüz modasında ki etkileri irdelenmiştir.
Futurism was declared by the Italian poet Flippo Tommaso Marinetti in the Futurism Manifesto on February 20, 1909. The word meaning is defined as future. Various manifestos were written by artists who adopted the movement. Artists emphasized speed, speed, war and the concept of force in their works. Futurism showed its first impact with World War I. Due to poverty and scarcity of raw materials, the use of important materials in clothing was stopped and different materials began to be used instead. Similar materials such as paper, glass, foil and aluminum can be given as examples. The concept of fashion, which dates back centuries, has been greatly influenced by the futurism movement, like other branches of art. Futurist fashion designers wanted the style of clothing to change radically. Futuristic clothes are generally created with asymmetrical cuts and the use of technological materials. It is aimed to create a visual of the future by using materials such as metallic colors, plastic and artificial. The technological developments brought by the Industrial Revolution also had an impact on the field of fashion. The first area where mechanization began was textiles. The first looms were invented, and thus hand weaving began to be done using machines. Thanks to developing technology, the production of nano and micro materials has led to the emergence of smart textiles. The use of 3D and 3D techniques shows that the futurism trend still has an influence in today's fashion. In this study, the historical processes of the futurism movement, how the movement affected fashion, the fashion designers affected by this movement and its effects on today's fashion were examined.
