Abstract
Olgulara hasta değerlendirme formu, Türkçe FEBFAS, Fonksiyonel Bağımsızlık Ölçeği (FBÖ), Barthel Günlük Yaşam Aktivileteleri İndeksi (Barthel GYA İndeksi), Manuel Tekerlekli Sandalye İtme Testleri, Gövde Bozukluk Ölçeği (GBÖ), Modifiye Fonksiyonel Uzanma Testi, Dünya Sağlık Örgütü Yaşam Kalitesi Değerlendirme Aracı Kısa Formu (WHOQOL-BREF), Nottingham Sağlık Profili (NHP), Craig Engellilik Değerlendirme ve Raporlama Tekniği Kısa Formu (CHART-SF), Beck Depresyon Envanteri (BDE) ve Beck Anksiyete Envanteri (BAE) uygulandı. The aim of this study is to make the cultural adaptation and to improve the Turkish version of the Physical Activity Scale For Individuals With Physical Disabilities (PASIPD) and to investigate its validity and reliability in individuals with spinal cord injury. FEBFAS, which consisted of 13 questions, was adapted to Turkish by translation and back translation method. The study included 47 (26 females, 21 males) wheelchair-dependent patients aged over 18 years who could read and write Turkish. Patient evaluation form, Turkish FEBFAS, Functional Independence Measures (FIM), Barthel Activities of Daily Life Index (Barthel ADL Index), Manual Wheelchair Propulsion Tests, Trunk Impairment Scale (TIS), Modified Functional Reach Test, World Health Organization Quality of Life Assessment Tool Short Form (WHOQOL-BREF), Nottingham Health Profile (NHP), Craig Disability Assessment and Reporting Technique Short Form (CHART-SF), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) were applied. Reliability was determined by test-retest and internal consistency and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated. Test-retest reliability was evaluated using Pearson correlation analysis and intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC). Factor analysis, convergent and discriminant validity and criterion validity were evaluated. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was found to be 0.725. There was a significant correlation between the total score of the items (p <0.05). ICC coefficient was found to be 0.851. Kaiser-Mayer-Olkin (KMO) value was found to be 0.641, Barlett test was found to be p=0.00, and it was found that we had sufficient sample size. FIM, Barthel GYA Index, WHOQOL-BREF, NHP, CHART-SF and FEBFAS were moderately positively correlated, 20 Meters Propulsion and Slalom Tests were highly negative, and 6 Minute Push Propulsion were moderately positive. According to the results of our study, Turkish FEBFAS is a valid and reliable scale and can be used to evaluate the level of physical activity in patients with spinal cord injury. Keywords: Spinal Cord Injury, Physical Activity, Physical Disabled Person, Validity, Reliability
