Abstract

Sustainability is meeting present demands without compromising future needs. Due to social and environmental consciousness, modern businesses need sustainability. Sustainability business practices consider environmental, social, and economic factors. Sustainable business strategies are defined, discussed, and outlined in this chapter. Sustainability boosts profits and protects the environment and society. Examples include resource efficiency, waste reduction, renewable energy, ethical sourcing, social responsibility, and stakeholder involvement.
