Abstract
Bu çalışma, Union Bank of Irak'ta (UBI) çalışan bireylerin bakış açısıyla Stratejik Uyumun Örgütsel Performansa Etkisi çalışması kapsamındadır. Araştırma evreni için (UBI)'nin Irak Cumhuriyeti'nde faaliyet gösteren tüm şubeleri değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini bu branşlarda çalışan toplam (340) kişi oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın evreninden seçilen (UBI)'nin tüm şubelerinin üst, orta ve alt yönetimlerinde görev yapan toplam (142) kişi tesadüfi örneklem olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacına ulaşabilmek için çoklu regresyon analizi başta olmak üzere birçok istatistiksel araçtan yararlanılarak betimsel-analitik yöntem kullanılmıştır. Çalışma, Stratejik Hizalamanın; İş Stratejisi, Bilgi Teknolojisi Süreçleri, Strateji ve İş Altyapısı; Union Bank of Irak'ın Örgütsel Performansı (Öğrenme ve Büyüme, Eğitim ve Gelişim, İş Tatmini, Finansal Yetenek) üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahiptir (α 0.05). Ancak Bilgi Teknolojisi Süreçlerinin ve Yapısının Union Bank of Irak'ın Örgütsel Performansı (Öğrenme ve Büyüme, Eğitim ve Gelişim, İş Doyumu, Finansal Yetenek) üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir etkisinin olmadığı (α 0,05) belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre şu önermelerde bulunulabilir; 1. Union Bank of Irak'taki karar vericiler, bütüncül bir bakış açısıyla, bankanın örgütsel performansını yansıtacak stratejik önceliklerin belirlenmesinde stratejik bir uyum yaklaşımı benimsemenin önemli olduğuna ikna edilmelidir. 2. Banka yöneticileri, stratejik uyum stratejisi ve süreçleri üzerinde olumlu düşünmek için araştırma ve geliştirmede bilgi teknolojisinin kullanımına ilişkin en iyi uygulamaları gözden geçirmelidir.
This study is within the scope of the study of the Effect of Strategic Alignment on Organizational Performance from the perspective of individuals working at the Union Bank of Iraq (UBI). For the universe of research, all branches of the (UBI) operating in the Republic of Iraq were evaluated. A total of (340) people working in these branches constitute the universe of the study. A total of (142) people working in the upper, middle and lower managements of all branches of the (UBI), selected from the universe of this study, were determined as a random sample. In order to get the aim of the work, the descriptive-analytical method was used by way of many statistical tools, especially multiple regression analysis. The study found that Strategic Alignment such as; Business Strategy, Information Technology Processes, Strategy and Business Infrastructure; has a significant impact on the Organizational Performance (Learning and Growth, Training and Development, Job Satisfaction, Financial Ability) of Union Bank of Iraq (α 0.05). However, it was determined that Information Technology Processes and Structure did not have a statistically significant effect on the Organizational Performance (Learning and Growth, Training and Development, Job Satisfaction, Financial Ability) of the Union Bank of Iraq (α 0.05). According to the results of the research, the following propositions can be made; 1. The decision makers at Union Bank of Iraq should be convinced that it is important from a holistic perspective to adopt a strategic alignment approach in setting strategic priorities to reflect the bank's organizational performance. 2. To reflect positively on strategic compliance strategy and processes, bank managers should review best practices in the use of information technology in research and development.
