Yoğun Bakım Ünitesinde Çalışan Hemşirelerin Hazırlanan Santral Venöz Kateter Öğretim Rehberi ile Verilen Eğitimin Uygulamalara Etkisinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma, yoğun bakım ünitesinde çalışan hemşirelerin hazırlanan santral venöz kateter öğretim rehberi ile verilen eğitimin uygulamalara etkisinin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yarı deneysel olarak yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini İstanbul Haseki Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Anesteziyoloji ve Reanimasyon Yoğun Bakım Ünitesinde çalışan 86 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Çalışmanın verileri, araştırmacı tarafından 'Katılımcı Anket Formu' 'Kateter Bakımı Sürecine Yönelik Gözlem Formu' kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Çalışmada yoğun bakım hemşirelerine ''Santral Venöz Kateter Bakımı Öğretim Rehberi '' kullanılarak hemşirelerin eğitim öncesi ve eğitim sonrası kateter bakımları değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada verilerin analizinde IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı istatistikler kapsamında frekans, yüzde, ortalama ve standart sapma değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Eğitim öncesi ve sonrası hemşirelerin uygulama düzeylerindeki değişimi değerlendirmek amacıyla bağımlı gruplar arası kategorik veri analizine uygun olarak McNemar testi uygulanmıştır. Anlamlılık düzeyi tüm analizlerde p<0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. İlgili bulgular tablolar hâlinde sunulmuş ve her bir uygulama alanına ilişkin yorumlamalar yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmayla birlikte düzenli aralıklarla güncellenen, uygulamaya dayalı ve izlem temelli eğitim programları sağlık hizmeti kalitesini artırmada önemli bir araç olmuştur. The sample of the study composed of 100 nurses who are working in the Anesthesiology and Reanimation Intensive Care Unit of Haseki Training and Research Hospital in Sultangazi, Istanbul. The data of the study were conducted by the researcher using the 'Participant Survey Form' and the 'Observation Form for the Catheter Care Process'. In this research, the pre- and post-training catheter care of nurses was appraised using the 'Central Venous Catheter Care Instruction Guide 'for the intensive care nurses. IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 package program was used in the analysis of data in the study. Frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation values were calculated within the extent of descriptive statistics. In order to evaluate the change in the practice levels of nurses before and after the training, the McNemar test was applied in accordance with the categorical data analysis between dependent groups. The level of significance was accepted as p<0.05 in all analyses. Relevant findings were presented in tables and interpretations were made regarding each field of application. As a consequence; with this study, regularly updated, practice-based and follow-up-based training programs are prominent instruments in enhancing the quality of healthcare services.
