The horn and the reflector antenna are simulated at 8 - 12 GHz frequency band which is suitable for radar and communication systems. The designing procedure is explained in steps. A DRH antenna is designed to achieve 8 - 15 dBi gain at the operating frequency band. Following the optimization of the horn, the radius of curvature of the reflector antenna is parameterized. The parabolic reflector is designed in order to increase the gain into 30 - 35 dBi and the results are presented. Simulations are performed with ANSYS HFSS software. © 2015 IEEE.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccess[No Keyword Available]Optimization of a reflector antenna fed by a double ridged hornConference ObjectQ42015-October21972198
