In the proposed structure, the current and voltage ratings of the switches are lower than the output rated current and voltage, respectively. The proposed inverter using a smaller number of components offers higher number of output voltage levels so that switches with lower current and voltage ratings are used and so resulting in the improved quality of output voltage and current waveforms considerably. Also, the other features of proposed structure are laid out in the comprehensive comparison with other structures in this paper that all these features in general cause to decrease the volume, cost and losses of the proposes inverter and highlighting the advantages of the proposed topology. © 2024 IEEE.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccesscoupled inductorlow switch countMultilevel inverterA Coupled-Inductor Based 17-Level Multilevel InverterConference Object
