According to the findings, school principals focus on self-directed learning among informal learning styles besides social and random learning. By means of informal learning, school administrators become more competent in solving many issues such as adaptation problems of refugee children, school absenteeism, academic failures of disadvantaged children, high expectations of parents, and sudden departures of teachers in private schools. The lack of quality and quantity of formal training results in using informal learning strategies for professional development. © The Author(s) 2025.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessInformal Learning ResourcesInformal Learning StrategiesInformal Learning StylesSchool PrincipalsSelf-Directed LearningSchool Principals’ Informal Learning Styles, Strategies, Resources, and the Leading Reasons of Informal Learning in the Research Context in TürkiyeArticle
