Electric kick scooters are one of the most basic types of light electric vehicles and their usage areas are increasing day by day. Especially for personal use and shared transportation systems, electric kick scooters have an important place. In this stuck the design of the electric motor of a standard electric kick scooter and the characteristics of the power electronics and battery system suitable for this motor are presented. The rated power and maximum power values are determined within the scope of the vehicle's basic parameters, road performance and standards. The electric motor designed in the brushless direct current motor topology has a rated power of 300W and a maximum power value of 600W. The motor has been designed for different number of slot pole ratios, and the most suitable motor has been selected considering the manufacturing, cost and performance values. The fundamental structures and values of motor driver and battery package are briefly investigated.
