The emphasis is shifted from the study of the objects of knowledge to the subject, man in language and language in man are analyzed. Of keen interest is one of the basic concepts "man". In the course of the investigation, associative experiments were carried out with the participation of 500 students from the city of Kazan - the native speakers of the Tatar language. The results were compared with the materials of the Russian Regional Associative Thesaurus EVRAS, posted on the website of the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Thus, the association experiment makes it possible to find the systematicity of the content of the image of consciousness that stands for word in different languages, and also confirms a uniqueness, singularity of the image of the world of each culture. This investigation has practical significance, since the results obtained are a valuable material for the study of certain fragments of linguistic consciousness, national-specific phenomena, behavioral stereotypes, value orientations, etc.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccesslinguistic consciousnessfree association experimentstimulusassociationreactionassociative fieldassociative dictionaryMAN IN THE MIRROR FREE ASSOCIATION EXPERIMENTArticle81190192WOS:000452964200050
