Araştırma, tanımlayıcı nitelikte olup örneklemini, 01/09/2022 ile 01/12/2022 tarihleri arasında Marmara Üniversitesi İstanbul Pendik Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Tıbbi Onkoloji ve Radyasyon onkolojisi servilerinde yatarak ve polikiniklerde ayaktan tedavi gören 150 kadın hasta oluşturmuştur. Veriler, Kişisel bilgi formu, Endişe Şiddeti Ölçeği ve Herth Umut indeksi ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde, sayı, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma değerleri, Sperman korelasyon testi ve regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada kadınların Endişe Şiddeti Ölçeği puan ortalaması 7,84±4,71 olarak bulunmuştur. Kadınların Hert Umut İndeksi toplam puan ortalaması 34,37±3,50; ölçek alt boyutlarından 'Gelecek' alt boyutu puan ortalaması 11,31±1,48; 'Olumlu hazır oluşluk ve beklenti' alt boyutu puan ortalaması 11,26±1,73 ve 'Kendisi ve çevresindekilerle arasındaki bağlar' alt boyutu puan ortalaması 11,79±1,36 olarak bulunmuştur. Kadınların Endişe Şiddeti Ölçeği Toplam puanı ile Hert Umut İndeksi toplam puanı arasında negatif yönde ve orta düzeyde ilişki saptanmıştır. Endişe Şiddeti Ölçeği toplam puanı ile 'Gelecek' alt boyutu; Olumlu hazır oluşluk ve beklenti' alt boyutu ve 'Kendisi ve çevresindekilerle arasındaki bağlar' alt boyutu puan ortalaması arasında negatif yönde zayıf ilişki saptanmıştır. Hert Umut İndeksi Alt boyut puan ortalaması ile ölçek toplam puan ortalaması arasında pozitif yönde ilişki saptamıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, kemoterapi tedavisi gören kadın hastaların endişe düzeyi arttıkça, umut düzeyinin düştüğünü saptanmıştır.Pandemi sürecinde kanser hastalarının bakımı, enfeksiyon riskini en aza indirgemek, hastaların yaşamını sürdürmek amacı ile hazırlanan ulusal ve uluslararası güncel rehberlerin önerileri doğrultusunda sürdürülmesi önerilmektedir.The study was carried out to determine the level of anxiety and hope experienced by famale patients undergoing chemoterapy treatment for cancer during the pandemic process. The study isdescriptive and its sample consisted of 150 famale patients who applied between 01/09/2022 and 01/12/2022, who were hospitalized in Marmara University Istanbul Pendik Training and Research Hospital Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology wards and outpatients in outpatient clinics. All patients who received chemotherapy treatment during the pandemic process, agreed to participate in the study and had no communication barriers are included in the study. Personel information form was obtained with Worry Severity Scale and Hert Hope index. Number, percentage, average, standard deviation values, Sperman corelation test and regression analysis were used to evaluate the data. In the study, the average score of the Women's Anxiety Severity Scale was found to be 7.84±4.71. The average scoreof the women's Hert Hope Index was 34.37±3.50; the avarage score of the 'Future' sub-dimension 'Positive readiness and expectation 'was 11.26±1.73 and the average score of the sub-dimension 'The bonds between himself and those around him' was found to be 1.79±1.36. A negative and moderate relationship was found betweewn the Hert Hope Index total score. Worry Severity Scale total score and 'Future' sub-dimension; There was a week negative correlation between the average score of the 'positive readiness and expecttation' sub-dimension 'The bonds between himself and those around him'. A positive correlation was found between the Hert Hope Index sub-dimension mean score and the scale total average score. This study shows that as the anxiety level of female patients undergoing chemoterapy treatment increases, the levelof hope decreases, the level of hope decreases. In this pandemic process, it is recommended that the care of cancer patients be continued in line with the recommendations of the current national guidelines prepared for the purpose of minimizing the risk of infection and maintaining the life of the patients.trHemşirelikNursingMaster Thesis
