Article Citation Count: 0Investigation of depth effect for underwater blasting-induced vibrations propagation;(Hacettepe Universitesi Yerbilmleri, 2017) Alas,B.; Bağdatli,S.; Lüleci,A.; Türe,H.C.The underwater blasting technology improvement that especially gained way in last 50 years, this process accelerated due to some humanitarian needs and obligations. Underwater blasting has environmental effects as surface blasting, vibration is one of them. The propagation of blasting-induced vibration which is known to vary depending on distance, amount of explosive and geological features. In this study, effect of depth was investigated for propagation of underwater blasting-induced vibrations. In accordance with this purpose, in two different periods, underwater blasting at different depths were analyzed statistically in the same area and then depth effect discussed for impact of underwater blasting-induced vibration. As result of the test, the effect of depth could not be determined to propagation of vibration for underwater blasting. Also, PPV and SD equations were used for prediction of blasting-induced vibrations. Then, blasting-induced vibration propagation of blasting were examined within the scope of this study. © 2017, Hacettepe Universitesi Yerbilmleri. Geography Markup Language-GML was developed by Open GIS Consortium-OGC. OGC presented GML based upon the technology of Extensible Markup Language-XML developed by World Wide Web Consortium-W3C. It was planned to constitute a layer for land registry and cadastral data at studies of INSPIRE (Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe) that adopted OGC standards. Digital land registry and cadastral sheets in Turkey have to be encoded according to an application schema prepared using GML schemas developed with XML technology that is among the information technology tools supporting the open source and interoperability. In particular, it focuses on determining the usage of GML in Turkey for Land registry and cadastral data and what measures must be taken to deal with the difficulty that will be opposed in the future. © SGEM2011 All Rights Reserved by the International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference SGEM.
