He received his Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. degrees from Boğaziçi University (İstanbul). In his Ph.D. thesis titled “Black Holes and Cosmic Censorship”, he evaluated the validity of the cosmic censorship conjecture proposed by the Nobel Laureate Roger Penrose. After a post-doc position at Boğaziçi University, he worked as a faculty at Eastern Mediterranean University (Northern Cyprus) and Özyeğin University (İstanbul). He joined İstanbul Okan University as an Associate Professor in October 2022.
