dc.description.abstractHigher education has a major role in the social and economic development of all countries. Nowadays, it has been a transformation from traditional to modern with new trends and challenges. If a university wants to develop itself and catch new opportunities, it must be more responsive to students, government and business world. That is to say, universities are now not only responsible teaching and research but also responsible to operation, management, completion and innovation. The purpose of the article is to point out new trends and current developments in higher education. To redefined and reinterpreted higher education, understanding these trends is a very substantial instrument. Based on the literature, eleven items that are affected changing of higher education area are stressed in the study. In a time of transition, a university should be aware of and follow all developments in higher education to prepare its students for new world.en_US
