24-28 haftalık gebelerin oral glikoz tarama testi memnuniyetlerinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, 24-28. haftalar arası gebelerin, Oral Glikoz Tolerans Testi'ne (OGTT) dayalı, Gestasyonel Diyabet Tarama Testi (GDTT) tercihlerini sorgulamak, test esnasında karşılaştıkları sorunları belirlemek ve testten memnuniyetlerini ölçmektir. Çalışmanın örneklemini, Yeditepe Üniversitesi Hastanesi'ne 26 Şubat 2015-25 Mart 2015 tarihleri arasında başvuran 100 gebe oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmaya katılan gebelerin yaş ortalaması 32,06 ± 4,3 olarak saptanmıştır. Gebelerin %72'sinin eğitiminin üniversite ve sonrası olduğu ve gebelik haftası ortalamasının 22,52 ± 1,9 olduğu saptanmıştır. Gebelerin %39'unun OGTT testinin ne amaçla yapıldığı hakkında kısmen yeterli bilgiye sahip oldukları, %41'inin bilgiyi doktordan edindikleri görülmüştür. Gebelerin %68'inin 75gr OGTT'yi tercih ettikleri, %41'inin tercih nedeninin testin kesin sonuç vermesi olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırmaya katılan gebelerin, memnuniyet düzeyi ortalaması 2,79 ± 0,95'e karşılık 'kararsızım' olarak belirlenip, gebelerin %49'u testin 'zor olduğunu, mide bulantısı, baş dönmesi yaptığını, uzun sürdüğünü' ifade etmiştir. Çalışmaya katılan gebelerin test tercihi ile memnuniyet nedenleri ve sonraki gebeliklerindeki test tercihi dağılımları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki vardır (p<0,05). Gebelerin 75 gr OGTT testinden memnuniyet düzeyleri diğer teste göre daha yüksek bulunmuş; 75 gr OGTT testi yaptıranların sonraki gebeliklerinde aynı testi yaptırmayı istedikleri saptanmıştır. Gebelerin, OGTT testi hakkında bilgilerinin kısmen yeterli olduğu, bu nedenle doktor, hemşire ve ebelerin testin gerekliliği konusunda daha fazla bilgilendirme yapmaları gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır. The aim of this study is to question the preferences of pregnant women between their 24th-28th weeks of pregnancy on GDTT, based on OGTT, to determine the problems they face during the test and to measure their satisfaction. 100 pregnant women who applied to Yeditepe University Hospital between 26th February 2015 and 25th March 2015 were included in the sample group of the study. Average age of pregnant women included in the study was determined as 32,06 ± 4,3. It was determined that 72 % of the pregnant women had undergraduate and graduate degrees and the average week of pregnancy was 22,52 ± 1,9. 39 % of the pregnant women were observed to have a certain degree of knowledge on purpose of the OGTT test and 41 % were informed by the doctor. It was observed that 68% of pregnant women preferred the 75 g OGTT and among these 41 % preferred this test for its accurate results. The average level of satisfaction of the pregnant women included in the study was determined as 2,79 ± 0,95 corresponding to 'indecisive', 49 % stated that the test was 'hard, caused dizziness and nausea, and lasted long'. There is a statistically relevant relationship (p<0,05) between the distribution of test preferences of the pregnant women participating in the study, reasons for their satisfaction and their test preferences for their following pregnancies. It was determined that the satisfaction level of pregnant women was higher for the 75 g OGTT compared to other tests and that they were willing to do the test again in their following pregnancy. It was concluded that the knowledge of pregnant women on OGTT was partially satisfactory and for this reason the doctors, nurses and midwifes shall provide further information on the necessity of the test.
