Hemşirelerin hastane enfeksiyonlarını önlemeye ilişkin bilgi düzeyleri

Abstract

Bu araştırma, hemşirelerin hastane enfeksiyonlarını önlemeye ilişkin bilgi düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, çalışmanın yapıldığı tarihlerde Çorlu Devlet Hastanesi'nde görev yapan 285 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada örneklem seçimine gidilmemiş, söz konusu hastanede görev yapan ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 204 hemşire araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri 15.09.2014-15.10.2014 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Veri toplamada hemşirelerin sosyodemografik özellikleri ve hastane enfeksiyonlarını önlemeye yönelik 18 sorudan oluşan, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde sayı, yüzde dağılımı, ortalama, shapiro wilk w testi, mann-whitney u testi, kruskal-wallis h testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre hemşirelerin hastane enfeksiyonlarını önlemeye ilişkin başarı puan ortalamaları 49,28 bulunmuştur. Yoğun Bakım Üniteleri ile Acil Birimlerde çalışan hemşirelerin, Dahili ve Cerrahi Birimlerde çalışan hemşirelerden daha yüksek puan aldıkları saptanmıştır. Bilgi puan ortalamaları ile öğrenim durumu, çalışma süreleri, cinsiyetleri, yaşları, hastane enfeksiyonları ile ilgili eğitim alma durumları arasında istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olmadığı belirlenmiştir.

This research was conducted as an identifier with the purpose of determining the knowledge levels of nurses for preventing the hospital infections. Population of the research consists of 285 nurses that worked in Çorlu Public Hospital during the dates of the study. The sample you choose is the selection of the research at the hospital in question and that agreed to join study covered 204 nurse research. The research data was collected between 15.09.2014-15.10.2014. Sociodemographic characteristics of nurses collecting data and to prevent hospital infections, consisting of 18 questions, the researcher prepared by questionnaire. Number, percentage distribution, average, shapiro wilk w test, mann-whitney test, kruskal-wallis h test were used in the evaluation of data.According to research results relating to prevent nosocomial infections of nurses achievement score averages 49,28 respectively. It is determined that the nurses working in Intensive Care Units and Emergency Units have achieved higher scores than the nurses working in Internal and Surgical Units. It is determined that there is not a significant statistical difference between the knowledge score averages and education status, working periods, genders, ages, received education about hospital infections.
