dc.description.abstract | Movement and nutrition play a very important role in maintaining health throughout life and preventing chronic diseases. Obesity and physical inactivity are among the leading causes of death at an early age, and factors that define an individual’s lifestyle, such as exercise and healthy nutrition, can reduce the risk of developing many chronic diseases. Regular physical activity and a balanced diet not only prolong life but also improve the quality of life and lead to a healthy life. In this chapter, the effects of nutrition on musculoskeletal health will be considered. © The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023. | en_US |
