Evde yatağa bağımlı hastaya bakım veren bireylerde bakım yükü ve spiritüel iyi oluş ilişkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırma; yatağa bağımlı hastalara bakım veren kişilerde bakım yükünü ve spiritüel iyi oluş düzeylerini belirlemek ve her iki durumun birbirine etkisini incelemek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel nitelikteki araştırmanın örneklemini, bir Evde Sağlık Birimine 04.04.2019-15.07.2019 tarihleri arasında başvuran, 154 hasta yakını oluşturmuştur. Veriler, sosyo-demografik bilgi formu, Zarit Bakım Yükü Ölçeği ve Spiritüel İyi Oluş Ölçeği ile elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilen verilerin istatistiksel değerlendirilmesinde sayı ve yüzde ortalamaları, Mann Whitney U testi, Kruskal Wallis testi, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri ve t testleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan bakım verenlerin %68,8'i kadındır ve yaş ortalamaları 47,81±13,82 olarak belirlenmiştir. Bireylerin %64,9'u bakım verme konusunda kendini kısmen yeterli hissettiğini, %72,1'i bakım verme nedeniyle bazen aile sosyal yaşamının olumsuz etkilendiğini belirtmiştir. Bakım vericilerin Spritüel İyi Oluş Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 115,09±18,89 ve Bakım Yükü Ölçeği puan ortalaması 68,11±5,40 olarak bulunmuştur. Bakım vericilerin Spritüel İyi Oluş ölçeği toplam puanı ile Bakım Yükü Ölçeği toplam puanı arasında ile negatif yönde zayıf ilişki saptanmıştır (p<0,05). Lineer regresyon analizi sonucuna göre, Spirütüel İyi Oluş Ölçeğinin toplam varyansının %51'inin öğrenim durumu, kronik hastalık varlığı ve bakım vermekten memnun olma durumu tarafından yordandığı görülmüştür. Bakım Yükü Ölçeğinin toplam varyansının %58'inin öğrenim durum, gelir durumu ve bakım vermekten memnun olma durumu tarafından yordandığı görülmüştür. The aim of this research was to determine the burden of care and the level of spiritual well-being of the people who care for bed-dependent patients and to examine the effect of both conditions on each other.The sample of this descriptive and cross-sectional research consisted of 154 patient relatives who applied to a Home Health Unit between 04.04.2019 and 15.07.2019. Data were obtained by socio-demographic information form, Zarit Care Burden Scale and Spiritual Well-being Scale. In the statistical evaluation of the data obtained, number and percentage averages, Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis test, correlation and regression analysis and t tests were used. 68.8% of the caregivers participating in the study are women and their average age is determined as 47.81 ± 13.82. 64.9% of the individuals stated that they felt partly sufficient in providing care, and 72.1% stated that sometimes family social life was negatively affected due to the care. The mean score of the Spiritual Well-Being Scale of caregivers was 115.09 ± 18.89 and the mean score of the Care Burden Scale was 68.11 ± 5.40. There was a weak negative correlation between the total score of the Caregiver Well-being scale and the Care Burden Scale (p <0.05). According to the results of the linear regression analysis, it was seen that 51% of the total variance of the Spiruteual Well-Being Scale was predicted by the level of education, presence of chronic disease, and satisfaction with care. It was observed that 58% of the total variance of the Care Burden Scale was predicted by the level of education, income status and satisfaction with providing care.
