Abstract
This study was carried out during daytime hours at a university with the aim of providing evaluations on the impact of indoor noise exposure on anger in young adults in the sample of university students. The questionnaire was carried out with 473 university students studying at various faculties at Okan University, Istanbul, Turkey. The indoor noise measurements were also taken using a sound level meter at various locations where the questionnaires were conducted. A significant difference was found among university students' main scores of trait, state, outraged and hated angers according to the locations having a different noise level where they filled the questionnaire forms. Statistical analysis indicated that there was a significant positive correlation between noise and the trait, state, outraged and hated angers. However, a correlation was not obtained between noise and the controlled anger.
