Iran's Foreign Policy Making Process' Affecting Factors and the Organizational Behaviour
(2020) Çora, Hakan; Elnur Hasan MİKAİL; Andaç KARABULUT; Uluslararası İlişkiler / International Relations
States determine their foreign policies at the end of making qualitative and quantitative evaluationson several factors from their historical processes to their geographical locations, from their political structureto their social values. This study combines concepts from analysis in political data and from organizationalbehavior better to understand variation in the organization-government interface in the example of Iran andits foreign policy making process. We argue that variances in organization-government relations acrosscountries can be better understood by examining the institutions through which culture and governmentinteract with certain attention to formal restraints such as rules that individuals develop and informalrestraints—such as norms and culture of behavior. We also present that characteristics of the institutionsinvolved in the interaction of organization and government can be better comprehended by observing howindividuals are appealed to, selected by, and choose to stay as members of institutions. In the study, thefactors affecting Iran's Foreign Policy were tried to be explained. Organizational behaviour is the academicstudy of the paths people act within groups. Its principles are implemented primarily in attempts to makebusinesses as well as states operate more effectively. Therefore, the Historical Process, GeopoliticalSituation, Political Culture, Social Values, Ethnic Structure, Social Structure, and Petroleum Revenues,Public Opinion, Shiite Islamic Understanding were assumed to be independent variables in the analysisprocess of Iran's Foreign Policy and organization. These independent variables were tried to be analysed inthe study by determining the Decision-Making Process and Dependent Variables in foreign policy analysis. While the study mentions that leadership is an important factor in Iran, the influence of religion on theleaders in power tried to be explained. The study states that religion and leadership are influential factors, especially in Iran's foreign policy.

Sustainable environmental and economic relations of Turkiye and republic of South Africa-A focus study for the period 2000-2010
(EDP Sciences, 2023) Hakan,Ç.; Çora, Hakan; Hasan,M.E.; Nazmi,Ç.A.; Uluslararası İlişkiler / International Relations
As one of the primary issues facing Turkiye, environmental degradation is one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Therefore, a policy-level reorientation may be required to address this situation. Based on this perspective, during the increase of mutual economic developments between Turkiye and South Africa, the impact of renewable energy (RE) use, financial develoment, urbanization, and agriculture emissions of carbon dioxide should be analyzed separately using a dataset spanning a considerable period of time. South Africa develops its national environmental policy through a consultation process known as the National Consultative Environmental Policy Process (CONNEPP). The process is designed to provide an opportunity for all stakeholders in South Africa to contribute to the development of a new environmental policy. With the end of the apartheid period in 1994, the Republic of South Africa initiated a comprehensive program of economic reform and development going forward and made significant progress in many sectors after 2000. At this time, Turkiye, as situated on a strategic location regarding global trade, was expanding its operations worldwide. The purpose of the research is to analyze the Turkish RSA relations focusing on the first decade of 21st century. As a basis of our methodology, we have researched achieves and business records as tangible verifiable information about this time period. Although the global financial crisis of 2008 affected this country for some time; the development line and ongoing momentum in the automotive industry sector, as well as sectors such as construction, banking, investment regulations, energy, telecommunications, mining and agriculture, are worth mentioning. For this specific research article, we believe that it is imperative to focus the 2000-2010 period which is the basis of today's cooperation which will bring a specific value to the academia. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2023.

AN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS STUDY: TURKS IN THE WESTERN WORLD'S HISTORY PERSPECTIVE AND ATATURK'S APPROACH
(Gaziosmanpasa Univ, 2022) Çora, Hakan; Cora, Ali Nazmi; Uluslararası İlişkiler / International Relations
Ataturk started numerous revolutions immediately after the war of independence, also called the struggle for national independence. The works conducted were about the content rather than the form. He desired the Turkish nation to take its rightful place among the world's nations. While building the foundations of the newly established state, on the one hand, he was making great efforts to improve the country's prestige and position abroad. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Western world treated the entire Eastern world, naturally to Turks, as second-class people and expressed this attitude on any occasion. Mustafa Kemal, who knew this case very well, decided to conduct comprehensive historical studies to achieve the following objectives: to refuse the accusations that were attributed to the Turks, which sometimes reached the level of insult; to introduce the true identity of the Turkish nation to the world; to get rid of the understanding of chronological history and to switch to the conception of social history in the country . At the end of the studies, a "Turkish History Thesis" was put forward. It was revealed that Turkish history was not limited to Islamic or Ottoman history. There was a pre-Islamic Turkish history with numerous achievements as many as post-Islamic history. Stating that history was not just the chronology, Ataturk gave the task of revealing the human aspect of history to Turkish historians in line with a study plan aiming to reveal the culture and civilization of Turkish history.

    (EDP Sciences, 2021) Çora, Hakan
In 1980 American Nuclear Society scholars Walter Jordan and Samuel Glasstone delivered a coherent and methodological presentation of the consequences of nuclear power on the environment. Focusing on a multitude of matters extending from nuclear power and reactor safety to the discarding of waste heat and the biological outcomes of radiation, enclosed many of the concerns involving to nuclear environmental effect. Furthermore, America's diverse legacy has allowed competing claimants to propose conflicting opinions of its position in the conclusion of the Cold War and the reduction of nuclear conflicts in the 1990s. Particular specifics, nevertheless, are beyond argument. United States headed over a immense nuclear accumulation and sprung an costly struggle to construct a defense versus strategic missiles that aggravated frictions with Soviet Union. This paper is aimed for specialists in any specific area and they will find the study presented as of a specific time period in nature and is therefore studies of later periods is recommended for advanced studies. Nevertheless, the educated scholars will possibly find the study informative and illuminating, and the paper will serve well the commitment to educating of misinformed community too. This study is thus endorsed for use in any activities engaged at public education in its subject matter. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2021.
