Sağlık personelinde öfke ve işe bağlı gerginlik ile tıbbi hatalarda tutum ilişkisi

Abstract
Bu çalışma, sağlık personelinin sürekli öfke ve işe bağlık gerginlik düzeylerinin, tıbbi hatalara ilişkin tutumlarına etkisini ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Okan Üniversitesi Hastanesi, Maltepe Üniversitesi Hastanesi ve Özel Pendik Bölge Hastanesi'nde çalışan 777 sağlık personeli oluşturmuş olup, örneklemini tabakalı rastgele örneklem yöntemi ile belirlenmiş 257 sağlık personeli oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veriler, 01.06.2018 ile 31.01.2019 tarihleri arasında Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Sürekli Öfke Ölçeği, İşe Bağlı Gerginlik Ölçeği ve Tıbbi Hatalarda Tutum Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan sağlık personelinin tıbbi hatalarda tutumları olumlu olanların oranı % 94,9 olarak belirlenmiştir. Sağlık personelinin sürekli öfke düzeylerinin, tıbbi hatalara ilişkin tutumları üzerinde negatif yönde anlamlı bir etki yarattığı ve işe bağlı gerginliklerinin tıbbi hatalara ilişkin tutumları üzerinde anlamlı bir etki yaratmadığı belirlenmiştir. 36-45 yaş arasında olan sağlık personelinin sürekli öfke düzeylerinin 46 yaş ve üstü olanlara göre daha fazla olduğu görülmüştür. Özel hastanede çalışan sağlık personelinin işe bağlı gerginliklerinin üniversite hastanesinde çalışanlara göre daha fazla olduğu belirlenmiştir. Lisans ve doktora mezunu olan sağlık personelinin tıbbi hatalara ilişkin tutumlarının, lise mezunu olanlara göre daha olumlu olduğu bulunmuştur. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda; sürekli öfke yaşayan sağlık personelinin sürekli öfke nedenlerini belirleyip nedenleri ortadan kaldırmak için düzenlemelerin yapılması, tıbbi hatalara yönelik tüm sağlık personeline eğitimlerin düzenlenmesi ve sağlık personeline yönelik psikososyal danışmanlık hizmeti verilmesi ve bu hizmetin sürekli olması önerilmektedir. This study has been done to determine the effects of the constant anger and job-related stress levels of health personnel on their attitudes towards medical errors. The study is including 777 health personnel that they are working in Okan University Hospital, Maltepe University Hospital and Private Pendik Regional Hospital. The sample was composed of 257 health personnel that have been determined by random sampling method. The data were collected by using Personal Information Form, Constant Anger Scale, Work-Related Stress Scale and Attitude Scale in Medical Errors between 01.06.2018 and 31.01.2019. It was determined that 94.9 % of the health personnel participating in the study had positive attitudes towards medical errors. It was determined that constant anger levels of health personnel had a significant negative effect on their attitudes towards medical errors and did not have a significant effect on their attitudes related to medical errors. It was observed that the constant anger levels of the health personnel between the ages of 36-45 were higher than 46 years of age or older. It was determined that health personnel working in the private hospital is more likely to have anger related with the work area compare to the university hospital. Also it was found that the medical staff who has bachelor's and doctor's degree are more positive than the people who graduated from high school for the attitude of medical errors. According to the findings of the study; It is recommended to determine the causes of constant anger of health personnel that has constant level anger and to make regulations in order to eliminate the causes, to organize trainings for all health personnel for medical errors and to provide psychosocial counseling services for health personnel and to be continuous.
