Abstract
Bu araştırmada, genç erişkin bireylerde duygusal yeme, algılanan sosyal destek ve belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük düzeyleri arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. 371 katılımcının verilerinin incelendiğia araştırmada, katılımcılara 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu', 'Duygusal Yeme Ölçeği', 'Belirsizliğe Tahammülsüzlük Ölçeği' ve 'Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği' uygulanmıştır. Ölçekler katılımcılara çevrimiçi formlar aracılığıyla verilmiştir. Araştırmada bağımsız örneklem t-test, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), Pearson Korelasyonu ve Çoklu Basit Regresyon Analizi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre, cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim düzeyi, zayıflama diyeti öyküsü, ideal kilo, kilo değerlendirmesi, diyete başlama düşüncesi değişkenleri bakımından duygusal yeme, algılanan sosyal destek ve belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük düzeylerinde anlamlı farklılıklar saptanmıştır. Kadınlarda, bekarlarda, daha önce diyet yapmış olanlarda, kendisini çok şişman olarak değerlendiren katılımcılarda duygusal yeme puanları anlamlı düzeyde daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, katılımcıların duygusal yeme puanları ile aileden algılanan sosyal destek ile negatif yönlü ilişki saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, duygusal yeme ve belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük düzeyleri ile pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur.
