Abstract
İş doyumu genel olarak çalışanların yaptıkları işten aldıkları hazzı ifade etmektedir. Çalışanlar yaptıkları işten ancak tatmin olduklarında verimli olabilirler. Performans da iş doyumuyla bağlantılı bir kavramdır. Çünkü çalışanların işleriyle ilgili gösterecekleri performans yaptıkları işten tatmin olmalarına bağlıdır. Bu tatminin sağlanması hem işverenin kişilik özelliklerine hem de iş yerinin özelliklerine (çalışana sağladığı faydalara) bağlıdır. Yaptığımız çalışmanın amacı, hastanelerin acil servislerinde çalışan hekim dışı sağlık personellerinin iş doyumu düzeyleri ile performansları arasındaki ilişkiyi göstermektir. Çalışmanın evrenini Kuzey Kamu Hastane Birliklerine bağlı 10 hastanenin acil servislerinde çalışan hekim dışı sağlık çalışanları oluşturmaktadır (n:565). Çalışmada Minnesota iş doyum ölçeğinin kısa formu (20 soru) ve Choo tarafından geliştirilen ve personellerin kendi performanslarını belirlediği kısa performans ölçeği (12 soru) kullanılmıştır. Anketler dağıtılıp toplandıktan sonra bilgisayar ortamında SPSS 17.0 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda; çalışanların tanımlayıcı özellikleri ile iş doyumu ve alt boyutları arasında ve performansları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklar bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Yine iş doyumu ve alt boyutları ile performans arasında pozitif yönde bir ilişkinin olduğu ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklar olduğu görülmüştür (p<0,05). Because workers may show all interest for their job only through satisfaciton This satisfaction depends on both the personality characteristics of the employer and the charactarestics of the workplace (benefit to the employee) The study what is done, shows the relations of job satisfaction on their jobs and their performance on their jobs of the non physicians that are working in the emergency services in hospitals (excluding the physicians). The population of the study consisted of North Community Hospital Unions non physician given service at the emergency services.(n:565) Minnesota job satisfaction short version form (20 questions) and short performance scale (12 question) which is developed from Choo were used fort his study.After all surveys serviced to emergency service workers and all the informations received back have been analysed through SPSS 17.0 computer package program. In the results of working; Statistically significant differences were found between the descriptive characteristics of the employees and the job satisfaciton and sub dimensions and their performances (p<0,05)Again, there was a positive correlation between job satisfaction and sub-dimensions and performance, and statistically significant differences were found (p<0,05).
