Abstract
amacı, hemşire ve öğretmenlerin, çocuk ihmal ve istismarına ilişkin farkındalıklarını belirlemektir. Tanımlayıcı özellikteki araştırma, İstanbul'da, 01.10.2017 -30.03.2018 tarihleri arasında yapıldı. Araştırmanın örneklemini online ortamda anketi tamamlayan 391 hemşire ve 389 öğretmen oluşturdu. Veriler, kişisel bilgiler formu ve 'Çocuk İstismarı ve İhmalinin Belirti ve Risklerinin Tanılanma Ölçeği' kullanılarak elde edildi. Çalışma yaşamında, hemşireler öğretmenlerden daha çok cinsel istismara maruz kalan çocuk ile karşılaşmıştı (p<,001). Öğretmenlerin hemşirelerden daha çok ihmal ve istismarı tanımlamada zorluk yaşadığı saptandı (p<,000). Hemşirelerin ÇİİBRTÖ toplam puanı, 'İstismarın çocuk üzerindeki fiziksel belirtileri', 'İhmalin çocuk üzerindeki belirtileri', 'İstismar ve ihmale yatkın ebeveyn özellikleri' ve 'Çocuk istismarı ve ihmalinde ailesel özellikler' alt boyut puanları öğretmenlerden daha yüksekti (p<,05). İhmal ve istismarı tanımlamada zorlanmayan, çalışma süresi fazla olan, çocuk cinsel istismarı ile karşılaşan ve kadın hemşirelerin ÇİİBRTÖ toplam puanı daha yüksektir (p<,05). İhmal ve istismarı tanımlamada zorlanmayan, kayıt/rapor etmede zorlanmayan, çalışma süresi fazla olan ve çocuk cinsel istismarı ile karşılaşmış olan öğretmenlerin ÇİİBRTÖ toplam puanını yükselmektedir(p<,05). Sonuç olarak, hemşirelerin çocuk ihmal ve istismarına ilişkin farkındalıklarının öğretmenlere göre yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Hemşire ve öğretmenlerin mesleki eğitimi ve mezuniyet sonrası eğitimlerinde çocuk ihmali ve istismarına geniş yer verilmesi önerilebilir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Çocuk, İhmal, İstismar, Hemşire, Öğretmen
The aim of the study was to determine the awareness of nurses and teachers about child neglect and abuse. The descriptive study was conducted in Istanbul between 01.10.2017 and 30.03.2018. The sample of the study consisted of 391 nurses and 389 teachers who completed the questionnaire online. Data were obtained using personal information form and 'Diagnosis of Symptoms and Risks of Child Abuse and Neglect Ver. In his working life, nurses encountered a child who was more sexually abused than teachers (p <,001). It was found that teachers had more difficulty in identifying neglect and abuse than nurses (p <,000). The total score of the nurses, the il physical symptoms of abuse on the child mal, the ism symptoms of neglect on the child özellik, the 'abuse and neglect parents eri and the eri familial characteristics in child abuse and neglect ismar subscale scores were higher than the teachers (p <,05). The total score of the female nurses who had no difficulty in defining the neglect and abuse, the duration of the study, the child sexual abuse and the female nurses were higher (p <,05). The total score of the teachers who have not been forced to define neglect and abuse, who are not forced to record / report, have a working time, and who have experienced child sexual abuse increases (p <,05). In conclusion, it was determined that nurses' awareness of child neglect and abuse was higher than that of teachers. It may be advisable to give wide coverage to child neglect and abuse in the vocational education and training of nurses and teachers. Key Words: Child, Neglect, Abuse, Nurse, Teacher
