Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı çeşitli liselerde görev yapan öğretmen ve yöneticilerin okul kültürüne ilişkin algılarının nasıl bir dağılım gösterdiğini, bu algıların katılımcıların ve görev yaptıkları okulun çeşitli özelliklerine göre önemli farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirleyerek bu doğrultuda öneriler geliştirmektir. Araştırmanın örneklemi 2013-2014 öğretim yılında İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesine bağlı ilçelerde bulunan 20 liseden görev yapan 20 okul müdürü, 65 müdür yardımcısı ve 603 öğretmen olmak üzere toplam 688 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu' ve 'Örgütsel Kültür Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada 12 alt probleme yanıt aranmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, t- testi, Tek Yönlü Varyans Çözümlemesi ve Scheffe Önemlilik Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada aşağıdaki bulgular elde edilmiştir: Okul yöneticilerinin okul kültürüne ilişkin algıları, öğretmenlerinkinden yüksek düzeydedir. Okul yönetici ve öğretmenlerinin, okul kültürünün hem geneline hem de alt boyutlarına ilişkin algıları; cinsiyet, yaş, branş, öğretmenlerin çalışma süresi, öğretmenlik kıdemi, öğrenim düzeyi ve okulun yaşı değişkenleri açısından önemli farklılık göstermemektedir. Okul yöneticilerinin görev sürelerinin güç faktörü açısından önemli farklılık göstermektedir. Katılımcıların okul kültürüne ilişkin algıları lisenin türü yönünden ölçek genelinde etkili olmayıp, Meslek Liselerinde rol faktörü yönünden farklılığa yol açmıştır. Okulun bulunduğu çevrenin sosyo-ekonomik düzeyi güç ve kontrol faktörü yönünden etkili değildir. Ancak orta sosyal ekonomik çevredeki okullarda çalışan katılımcılar okulun örgütsel kültürünü hem ölçek genelinde hem de başarı ve destek boyutları açısından daha olumlu bulmaktadırlar.
Aim of the study is clarifying then determining recommendations about distribution of perception on school culture according to the various characteristics of their schools by the way of how effected their perceptions according to the their school's characteristics about managers and teachers who works in various high schools Sampling in this study covers; 20 school managers, 65 school deputy manager, 633 teachers are composed of 668 people that is in the 20 high schools located in the districts of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality. As a data collection tool is used to 'Personal Information Form' and 'Organizational Culture scale Questionnaire'. The solutions of the sub-problems have been sought with 12 questions in that study. Following data analysis methods have been applied; arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way Analysis of Variance and Scheffe significance test. The following results were obtained in this study: Managers' perception of school culture is higher than teachers. Managers' and teachers' in the general and sub level of school culture perceptions depend on gender, age, branch, working time of teachers, teacher seniority, education level and school age does not show significant differences in terms of variables. Managers' tenure shows important differences in terms of the power factor. Participants' perceptions related to school culture, type of high school are not effective on general scale range but role in Industrial high schools has led to differences in factor. Socio-economic level of area that was established the school is not being effective in terms of power and control. However, organizational culture of the school is found more affirmative in terms of both across the scale also success and supporting dimensions by the participants who works in the schools that is in the middle socio-economic neighborhood.
