Abstract
Giriş ve Amaç: Profesyonel sporcular, performanslarını her zaman en üst seviyeye yükseltmek, orada tutmak ve sınırlarını zorlamak isterler. Antrenman ve müsabaka öncesi, ısınma bölümü kapsamında yapılan dinamik germeler veya farklı günlerde spesifik esneklik gelişimi hedefli yapılan statik germe antrenmanları bu sürecin esneklik ile ilgili bileşenlerini oluşturur. Amacımız, profesyonel futbolcuların performans parametrelerinden biri olan esneklik düzeyleri için, ayak tabanlarına yapılan miyofasiyal germe uygulamasının olası etkisini araştırmaktır. Yöntem: Bu çalışmaya 27 aktif profesyonel futbolcu (yaş, 24,07±3,812 yıl; boy, 181,52±5,787 cm; antrenman yaşı, 13,04±4,052 yıl) katıldı. Birinci gün yüzeysel arka hattın esneklik seviyesini ölçümlemek için otur-uzan esneklik testi yapıldı. 24 saat sonra, futbolcuların ayak tabanlarına 1 dakika boyunca kendi kendilerine miyofasiyal germe yaptırıldı ve esneklik testi tekrarlandı. Bulgular: Ayak tabanına uygulanan miyofasiyal germe uygulamasının profesyonel futbolculardaki esneklik performansına akut etkisinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirdiğimiz bu çalışmada, yapılan ilk test ile son test verileri karşılaştırılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analiz neticesinde istatistiksel düzeyde yüksek anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir (p<0.001). Sonuç: Ayak tabanına uygulanan miyofasiyal germe, profesyonel futbolculardaki esneklik gelişimine akut olarak etki sunmaktadır. Gerek kullanım konforu, gerek esnekliğe olan etkisi sebebiyle müsabaka, antrenman öncesi ısınma bölümüne ve esneklik antrenmanlarına dahil edilebilir.

Before training and competition, dynamic stretches in the scope of the warm-up section or training-aimed specific flexibility improvement static stretching trainings on different days are the constituents of this process related to flexibility. Our goal is to investigate the possible effect of myofascial stretching of the foot soles for flexibility levels which is one of the performance parameters of professional footballers. Method: 27 active professional footballers (age, 24, 07±3, 812 year; height 181, 52±5, 787 cm; training age, 13, 04±4, 052 year) are studied for this research. On the first day, a sit-and-reach flexibility test was performed to measure the flexibility level of the superficial back line. 24 hours later, myofascial stretching was performed on the foot soles of footballers for 1 minute and the flexibility test was repeated. Results: In this study, which we carried out with the aim of determining the acute effect of myofacial stretching applied on the foot sole on the flexibility performance of professional footballers, results were significantly different between the pre-test and post-test data (p<0.001). Conclusion: Myofascial stretching applied to the foot sole has an acute positive effect on the development of flexibility in professional footballers. Due to its positive effect on flexibility and comfort; myofascial stretching can be applied during warm-ups of competitions as well as flexibility trainings.
