Abstract
Çalışmaya katılan bireylerin %68,1'i kadın, %46,1'i evli, %75,2'si üniversite mezunu, %53,9'unun geliri giderine denk, %50,4'ü diyet yapmakta ve % 63,1'i ağırlığından memnun değildir.
This study is a descriptive and cross-sectional study in order to examine the factors affecting body perception of patients admitted to the plastic and reconstructive surgery outpatient clinic. The aim is to determine the factors affecting the body perception of the patients and to contribute to similar studies to be done later. The universe of the study consisted of 155 patients over the age of 18 who applied to the plastic and reconstructive surgery outpatient clinic between 17 September and 31 November 2019. It has been determined that the average score of individuals who are satisfied with their weight is higher than those who are not satisfied. Body perception mean scores of individuals who have previously undergone plastic surgery were found to be higher than those who did not. It is concluded that body perception is higher in social individuals.
