Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between the psychological well-being, hopelessness, and perceived social support levels of unemployed university graduates. A total of 384 people, 211 female (54.9%) and 173 male (45.1%) university graduates, who participated in the research from various regions, did not exceed the age of 35. The data of the study were collected using the Socio-Demographic Information Form, Beck Hopelessness Scale, Psychological Well-Being Scale and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. While Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk tests were used for the normality assumptions of the data, Spearman Correlation Analysis, one of the non-parametric tests, was performed to examine the relationship between the scale scores. Mann Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis H test were applied to determine the relationship between the scales used and socio-demographic data. In the analysis of the data, it was observed that there was a negative relationship between the psychological well-being of unemployed university graduates and their hopelessness levels, and a positive significant relationship between their perceived social support levels (p<.01).
