İlkokul yöneticilerinde zaman yönetimi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı ilkokul yöneticilerinin zamanı ne düzeyde etkin kullandıkları belirlemektir. Bu kapsamda yöneticilere araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 18 maddelik 'Zaman Yönetimi Anketi' uygulanmıştır. Araştırma, Adana ili merkez ilçelerinde görev yapan 100 ilkokul yöneticisinin katılımıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma verileri, SPSS 16,0 istatistik programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Ankette elde edilen nicel verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistikler, bağımsız gruplar t testi, Mann-Whitney U ve Kruskall Wallis testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda çalışmaya katılan ilkokul yöneticilerinin zaman yönetimi becerileri 'orta' düzeydedir. Yöneticilerin zaman yönetimi becerileri 'cinsiyete, yaşa ve görev unvanına' göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Fakat yöneticilerinin zaman yönetimi becerilerinde 'medeni duruma, kıdeme, eğitim durumuna' bağlı anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmamıştır. Elde edilen bulgular çerçevesinde yöneticilerin zamanını engelleyen faktörler belirlenmiş ve zamanı etkin kullanabilmeleri için ilkokul yöneticilerine öneriler sunulmuştur.

The aim of this study is to state how the primary school principals use the time effectively. In this scope, it has been applied to principals an 18 item 'time management questionnaire' developed by researcher. The research is made with the participation of 100 primary school principals working in Adana. The data are evaluated by SPSS 16,0 statistics program. It has been used descriptive statistics, Independent Sample t-test, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis test for evaluation of the quantitative data. The primary school principals' time management skills are 'medium' as a result of the research. It has been found significant differences in term of ' sex, age and job title' in their time management skills. But it hasn't been found any relationship between the principals' time management skills and their 'marital status, seniority and education status'. According to the findings, the factors that prevent the principals' time management have been determined and offered suggestions in order that the principals are use their time effectively.
