Abstract
Bu araştırma teknoloji ve tasarım dersinde drama yönteminin kullanılmasına ilişkin öğrenci görüşleri ve bu yöntemin kullanılmasının öğrencilerdeki tutum değişikliğini araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma 2015-2016 eğitim ve öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Şişli ilçesinde bulunan bir okulda 7 ve 8. Sınıf öğrencilerinden rastgele seçilen 97 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde 47 öğrenci kontrol grubuna dahil edilmiş ve geleneksel yöntemlerle ders işlenmiştir geriye kalan 50 öğrenci ile de drama yöntemi ile ders işlenmiştir. Uygulama 6 hafta boyunca devam etmiştir. Veriler uygulamanın başında ve sonunda deney ve kontrol gruplarına uygulanan teknoloji ve tasarım dersi tutum ölçeği ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırma süreci sonunda toplanan verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda geleneksel yöntemlerle dersin anlatıldığı kontrol grubu ve drama yöntemiyle dersin anlatıldığı deney grubu son test puanları arasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Kontrol ve deney grubu uygulama sonrası tutumlarında anlamlı bir fark ortaya çıkmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular sonucunda teknoloji ve tasarım dersi öğretiminde drama yönteminin olumlu yönde etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. This research was conducted in order to investigate students' perception about the use of drama in technology and design lesson and the changes in their attitudes toward use of technology and design course. The study was conducted with 97 students randomly selected from 7th and 8th grade students in a school located in Şişli district of Istanbul in 2015-2016 education year. In the research process, 47 students were included in the control group and were taught by traditional methods. The remaining 50 students were taught with the drama method. The implementation took 6 weeks. Before and after the implementation, pre and post tests of the attitude scale toward the technology and design lesson applied to both experimental and control groups. After data collection, the SPSS package program was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, it was determined that there is a significant change in the post test scores of the control group in which the lessons were taught according to the the traditional method and the experimental group which the lessons were taught according to the drama method. Furthermore, there was a significant change in the attitudes of the experimental group after the implementation. To conclude, the findings of the study indicated that the drama method had significant influences on teaching technology and design lessons.
