Abstract
Bu araştırma İstanbul ili Koç Üniversitesi Hastanesi'nde görev yapan hemşirelerin iş yaşam kalitesi ve beslenme durumunun saptanması; iş yaşam kalitesi ve beslenme durumu ilişkisinin araştırılması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya gönüllü 180 hemşire katılmıştır. Verilerin elde edilebilmesi için; katılımcılara beslenme alışkanlıkları anketi ve İş Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Beslenme Bilgi Sistemi (BeBİS 7.2) programı ve SPSS 22.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılanların %93,9'u kadın, %6,1'i erkektir. The aim of this study was to determine work-related quality of life and nutritional status of nurses working at Koç University Hospital in Istanbul and to investigate the relationship between work-related quality of life and nutritional status. 180 female and male nurses participated in the study. In order to obtain the data, nutritional habits questionnaire and Work-Related Quality of Life Scale were applied to the participants. In the analysis of the data, Nutrition Information System (BeBİS 7.2) programme and SPSS 22.0 statistical package programme were used. Pearson Chi-Square test, Kolmogov-Simirnov test, Student t test, One Way Anova test, Mann Whitney U test, Pearson Correlation ve Spearman's rho test were performed in SPSS analyzes. 93.9% of the participants were female and 6.1% were male. 96.9% of the individuals with normal weight were female, 3.1% were male; all obese individuals are women. 27.22% of the participants had at least one chronic disease. 87.2% of the participants make 3 or more meals a day. Breakfast is the most frequently skipped meal with 31.1%. In the night shift, crackers and chips are preferred with 40.7% for snacks, while tea and coffe are the most preferred drinks. When the scores of the nurses who participated in the study were evaluated from the work-related quality of life scale, it was found that 37.8% of them were low, 15.6% of them were middle, and 46.7% of them had high quality of work life. There was no significant difference between the participants' working time, general eating habits, smoking, alcohol consumption and physical activity, daily sleep duration, BMI levels, night shift work and eating habits, and work quality scores (p> 0.05). As the consumption of energy, carbohydrate, pulp, vitamin K, thiamine, pyridoxine, vitamin C, magnesium, phosphorus and iron increased, the quality of work life increased. In our country, it is recommended to give importance to the investigation of the relationship between work life quality and nutrition by conduction extensive research on nurses.
