dc.description.abstract | The Internet of Things (IoT) and information technologies applied in the improvement of healthcare operations have reached an important point. In the dayswe live, especially after the pandemic, it has become even more important to research various technologies under the title of health4.0 to strengthen health services. IoT was improved to combine existing medicinal sources and ensure individuals with the most trustworthy and most efficient healthcare services. One of the greatest opportunities IoT has to offer is hidden in immanent connectivity. Thus, smart services such as remote patient tracing/monitoring, hometherapy, and assisted living platforms are possible. In recent years, neurological diseases have come to the fore more than all other diseases. When the literature is searched, it is seen that the number of articles examining the studies on neurology and IoT is quite limited. In recent years, the interpretation of large volumes of complex electronic data, especially in health systems, is of great importance. Interpreting this data can also introduce important challenges. Deep learning is well suited to tackling these challenges. The motivation and the contribution of the chapter proceeds precisely from this point. The purpose of this article is to summarize the most fundamental practices of IoT in neurology. © 2023 selection and editorial matter, Jyotismita Chaki; individual chapters, the contributors. | en_US |
