Bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinde görev yapan hemşirelerin bireysel yenilikçilik düzeylerinin ve teknolojiye bakış açılarının incelenmesi

Abstract

ÖZET Bu araştırma, hemşirelerin bireysel yenilikçilik düzeylerinin ve teknolojiye bakış açılarını belirlemek ve bunların arasındaki ilişkinin çeşitli değişkenler açısından farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmış tanımlayıcı tipte bir araştırmadır. Araştırma bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerle yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini söz konusu hastanede çalışan tüm hemşireler oluşturmuştur. Araştırma Ekim-Aralık 2017 tarihleri arasında yürütülmüş olup, örneklemini 260 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verilerinin elde edilmesinde, hemşirelerin demografik ve mesleki özellikleri belirlemeye yönelik 'Hemşire Tanıtım Formu', bireysel yenilikçilik düzeylerini belirlemek üzere tasarlanmış olan 'Bireysel Yenilikçilik Ölçeği' ve teknolojiye karşı tutumlarının belirlemek üzere tasarlanmış olan 'Teknolojiye Karşı Tutum Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen veriler IBM SPSS Statistics Version 20 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde Kolmogorov Smirnov, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis-H, Post-Hoc Çoklu Karşılaştırma Testi, Spearman's Korelasyon Katsayısından yararlanılmıştır Araştırma sonucunda, hemşirelerin 'Teknolojiye Karşı Tutum Ölçeği' toplam puan ortalaması 137,01±15,74 olarak bulunmuştur. Hemşirelerin cinsiyet, eğitim, medeni durum, çocuk sahibi olma, bilgisayar kullanma ve kişisel bilgisayara sahip olmalarının teknolojiye karşı tutumlarını etkilediği belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Hemşirelerin bireysel yenilikçilik kategorisi bakımından çoğunluğunun 'kuşkucular' kategorisinde olduğu saptanmıştır. Hemşirelerin 'Bireysel Yenilikçilik Ölçeği' toplam puan ortalaması 61,18±6,81 olarak bulunmuştur. Hemşirelerin cinsiyet, eğitim, medeni durum, çocuk sahibi olma, bilgisayar kullanma ve kişisel bilgisayara sahip olma değişkenlerine göre bireysel yenilikçilik puanları anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin bireysel yenilikçilik düzeyleri ile teknolojiye karşı tutumları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0,05). The research was conducted with nurses working in a training and research hospital. The universe of the study consisted of all nurses working in the hospital. The research was conducted between October and December 2017 and the sample consisted of 260 nurses. 'A Questionnaire Form' was used to determine the demographic and occupational characteristics of the nurses, 'Individual Innovation Scale' designed to determine individual innovation levels and 'Technology Attitude Scale' designed to determine attitudes towards technology. The data were analyzed with IBM SPSS Statistics Version 20 package program. Kolmogorov Smirnov, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis-H, Post-Hoc Multiple Comparison Test, Spearman's Correlation Coefficient were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the study, the mean total score of the nurses 'Technology Attitude Scale' was found as 137.01±15.74. It was determined that nurses attitudes towards technology were affected by gender, education, marital status, having children, using computers and having personal computers. In the category of individual innovation of nurses, the majority are in the category of 'skeptics'. The mean total score of the 'Individual Innovation Scale' of the nurses was found to be 61.18±6.81. According to the variables of gender, education, marital status, having children, using computers and having personal computer, individual innovation scores show a significant difference. There was a statistically significant relationship between nurses individual innovation levels and their attitudes towards technology (p<0,05).
