Türkiye'deki sağlık turizminin uluslararasılaşma süreci

Abstract

'Dünyada hızla gelişen küresel turizm pazarının en önemli paydaşı sağlık turizmi olduğu bilinmektedir. Nitekim dinamik yapıya sahip olan Türkiye'deki sağlık turizminin uluslararasılaşması önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sağlık turizmi sektöründe son dönemde önemli gelişim gösteren, Türkiye'nin sağlık turizmi alanındaki faaliyetlerini ve uluslararasılaşma sürecini incelemektir. Çalışma evrenini kamu ve özel sağlık kurumlarında çalışan 24 sağlık çalışanları ve sağlık yöneticileri oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılan anket ve araştırma soruları oluşmuştur. Birinci bölümde katılımcıların kişisel bilgilerinin belirlenmesi için kişisel bilgi formu ve İkinci bölümde çalışanların sağlık turizmine yönelik araştırma soruları yer almıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, Türkiye'de sağlık turizminin uluslararasılaşması sürecinin hızla ilerlediği ve diğer ülkere nazara daha gelişmiş sağlık turizmine sahip olduğuna ulaşılmıştır. Nitekim Türkiye'ye tedavi amacıyla gelen hastaların aldıkları hizmetlerden memnun oldukları ve hasta sayısının daha da artırılabilmesinin mümkün olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca tez çalışması Türkiye ve dünyadaki sağlık turizmin gelişimi ve geleceği hakkında ve bu alanın ülke ekonomisine sağlayacağı katkısı ile ilgili az sayıdaki çalışmaların birini teşkil etmekte ve kaynak açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır.''It is known that the most important stakeholder of the rapidly developing global tourism market in the world is health tourism. As a matter of fact, the internationalization of health tourism in Turkey, which has a dynamic structure, is important. The purpose of this study is to examine Turkey's activities and internationalization process in the field of health tourism, which has recently developed significantly in the health tourism sector. The population of the study consisted of 24 healthcare professionals and healthcare administrators working in public and private health institutions. In the study, questionnaire and research questions used as data collection tools were formed. In the first part, a personal information form was included to determine the personal information of the participants and in the second part, the research questions of the employees on health tourism were included. As a result of the research, it was found that the process of internationalization of health tourism in Turkey is progressing rapidly and has a more developed health tourism compared to other countries. As a matter of fact, it has been observed that patients who come to Turkey for treatment are satisfied with the services they receive and it is possible to increase the number of patients even more. In addition, the thesis study constitutes one of the few studies on the development and future of health tourism in Turkey and the world and its contribution to the country's economy and is of great importance in terms of resources.'
