Abstract
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı kadın bireylerin mükemmeliyetçilik düzeylerinin, bağlanma stillerinin ve evlilik öncesi psikolojik yardım almaya yönelik tutumlarının eş seçme stratejileri ile ilişkisinin incelemektir. Çalışmanın örneklemini, Türkiye genelinde yaşayan 17-50 yaş arasındaki 406 kadın oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri Sosyo-demografik Bilgi Formu, Psikolojik Yardım Almaya İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği-Kısa Form, Frost Çok Boyutlu Mükemmelliyetçilik Ölçeği (FÇBMÖ), Üç Boyutlu Bağlanma Stilleri Ölçeği, Eş seçme stratejileri envanteri (ESSE) ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre kişinin güvenli bağlanması arttığında psikolojik yardım almaya ilişkin tutumu da pozitif yönde değişmektedir. mükemmeliyetçilik düzeyleri ile psikolojik yardım almaya ilişkin tutum değişkeni arasında anlamlı bir korelasyon bulunamamıştır. Bağlanma stilleri ve mükemmeliyetçilik düzeyi arasında anlamlı bir ilişki vardır. Eş seçme stratejileri ile mükemmeliyetçilik arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Kişinin psikolojik yardım almaya ilişkin tutumu pozitif yönde değiştiğinde eş seçme stratejilerinden aile kurumu ve güvene verdikleri önem artmakta, bekârete verdikleri önem ise azalmaktadır. Eş seçme stratejileri ile bağlanma stilleri arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın sonuçları ilgili alanyazın ışığında değerlendirilip, tartışılıp yorumlanmıştır.
The main purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between female individuals' perfectionism levels, attachment styles and the effect of receiving psychological help before marriage on their mate choice. The population of the study consists of 406 women between the ages of 17-50 living in Turkey. The data of the study were collected with the Socio-demographic Information Form, the Attitudes towards Seeking Psychological Help Scale-Short Form, the Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale, the Three-Dimensional Attachment Styles Scale, and the Spouse Selection Strategies Inventory. According to the results of the research, when the person's secure attachment increases, his attitude towards seeking psychological help also changes positively. No significant correlation was found between perfectionism levels and the variable of attitude towards seeking psychological help. There is a significant relationship between attachment styles and perfectionism level. It has been observed that there is a significant relationship between mate selection strategies and perfectionism. When the person's attitude towards receiving psychological help changes positively, the importance they attach to the family institution and trust, which is one of the strategies for choosing a spouse, increases, while the importance they attach to virginity decreases. A significant positive correlation was found between mate selection strategies and attachment styles. The results of the research were evaluated, discussed and interpreted in the light of the relevant literature.
