Tip 2 diyabetli yetişkinlerin beslenme bilgi düzeyleri, beslenme alışkanlıkları ve diyabetik ürünleri kullanım durumlarının değerlendirilmesi

Abstract
Araştırma, yaşları 20 ile 66 yaş ve üzeri arasında değişen, 76'sı (%72,4) kadın, 29'u (%27,6) erkek olmak üzere toplam 105 olgu üzerinde yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın amacı tip 2 diyabetli bireylerin beslenme bilgi düzeyleri, beslenme alışkanlıkları ve diyabetik ürünleri kullanım miktarlarını ve nedenlerini sorgulayarak kişilere sağlıklı beslenme alışkanlıkları kazandırmak ve bilinçlendirmektir. Bu araştırmada, katılımcıların %38,0'inin beslenme eğitimi aldığı görülmüştür. Bilgi düzeyleri sorgulandığında, katılımcıların %56,0'sının beslenme bilgi düzeyleri düşük, %39,0'unun beslenme bilgi düzeyi orta ve sadece %5,0'inin beslenme bilgi düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Cinsiyetler arasında beslenme bilgi düzeyleri arasındaki fark incelendiğinde, erkek katılımcıların beslenme bilgi düzeyi ortalama puanının, kadın katılımcılara göre daha yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Ancak, cinsiyetler arasındaki ortalama bilgi düzeylerine ilişkin bu fark istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı değildir (p > 0,05). Beslenme eğitimi alan katılımcıların beslenme bilgi düzeyi ortalama puanının, besleme eğitimi almayan katılımcılara göre daha yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Beslenme eğitim alan ve almayan arasındaki ortalama bilgi düzeylerine ilişkin bu fark istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bulunmuştur (p < 0,05). Kişilerin diyabetik ürünleri tercih durumlarına bakıldığında, katılımcıların diyabetik ürünler içerisinde en çok diyabetik içecekleri (%33,0), daha sonra diyabetik bisküvileri (%26,0) ve sırasıyla diyabetik çikolataları ( %22,0), diyabetik tatlılar ve dondurmaları (%12,0) ve diyabetik reçelleri (%7,0) tercih ettikleri görülmüştür. Katılımcıların %50,0'si diyabetik ürünleri nadiren tüketmektedir. Katılımcıların %44,0'ü diyabetik ürünleri alırken sağlığa zararlı olabileceğini düşünürken, %32,0'si ileride olumsuz yan etkileri olabileceğini düşünmektedir. Diyabetli bireyler diyabetik ürünler ve tatlandırıcılar konusunda bilinçlendirilmeli ve sağlıklı beslenme alışkanlıkları kazandırılarak diyabetin neden olabileceği hastalıklar önlenmelidir. Evaluation Of The Nutrition Education Level, Nutrition Habit And Diabetic Product Usage For Type 2 Diabetic Adults The research have been tried on people whose age depends on 20 and 66 and the sexuality was tasted on total 105 people which can be proportioned as 76 (72.4%) women and 29 (27.6%). The purpose of this study is to raise awareness of healthy eating habits by questioning the nutritional knowledge levels of individuals with Type 2 diabetes, their eating habits and the amounts and causes of diabetic products usage. The 38.0% rate of people who evaluated during these research, have been had education on nutrition. When the education level evaluatated, the result shows that 56.0% of people have lower information about the nutrition, 39.0% are medium-level and only 5.0% people have high-level information. When the differences between the sexuality have evalualted, the results show that, the average level of education which men have, is higher that the woman. However the differences between the education level of people have, is not makes any sense for statistical aspect. (p> 0.05). The people who get an education related with nutrition, have higher, average level of information when compare with the others. This statictic have been founded that the differences between the level of education people have as meaningfull. (p< 0.05). When the preference and the rate of using of the diabetic products compared with, the most commont product range designated as the diabetic beverages (33.0%). The second ones are the diabetic biscuits (26.0%), and respectively the diabetic chocalate (22.0%), the sweets and ice-crearms (12.0%) and the jams (7.0%) can be called. 50.0% of participants rarely consume diabetic products. While 44.0% of participants thought that they could be harmful to health when taking diabetic products, 32.0% think that there might be negative side effects in the future. The petients wih diabetes should be became conscious about the diabetic products and flavourings as well. The people should be gained the habit of healthy nutrition.
