Ortaokul öğrencilerinin süt ve süt ürünleri tüketim durumlarının değerlendirilmesi

Abstract
Bu araştırma ortaokul öğrencilerinin süt tüketim durumlarını değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma Kocaeli ili Çayırova ilçesinde bulunan Reysaş Lojistik Ortaokulunda okuyan 10-15 yaş arasındaki 200 öğrenciye gönüllülük esasına uygun bir şekilde yapılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı kesitsel tipteki bu araştırmanın verileri 54 soruluk anket yoluyla toplanmıştır. Anket 2 bölümden oluşmakta, ilk bölümde öğrencilerin kişisel bilgilerinin yer aldığı 10 soruluk bir bölüm ve süt ürünleri tüketimleri sıklığını ve miktarını belirlemek amacıyla hazırlanmış 44 soru öğrencilere yüz yüze görüşme ile uygulanmıştır. Çalışmaya alınan 200 öğrencinin yaşları 10-15 yaş grubu ortaokul öğrencileri olup, % 55,5' i erkek, % 44,5 kızdır. Çalışma sonucunda kız ve erkek öğrencilerin süt ürünleri tüketim sıklığı ve ortalama kalsiyum alımları ile ağırlık ve beden kitle indeksi (BKİ) ile kıyaslanmış fakat anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Çocukların %65,5'inin annesi, %47,5'inin babası ilkokul, ortaokul, mezunudur. Çocukların %79,0'u her gün harçlık almaktadır. Çocukların; boy ortalaması 155,80±10,17 cm, ağırlık ortalaması 46,94±11,55 kg, BKİ ortalaması 19,97±11,50' kg/m2'dir. BKİ ortalamalarına göre araştırmaya katılan çocuklar 15-85. persentilde yer almakta ve normal ağırlık standardı aralığında bulunmaktadırlar. Çocukların % 37,5'inin ailesinin ortalama aylık geliri 2000-3000 TL arasıdır. Çocukların % 41,5'inin ailesi 4 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Çocukların; %81,5'inin evinde her gün süt bulunmakta, %63,5'i her sabah kahvaltı yapmakta, en çok tüketilen süt ürünlerinden dondurmayı tüketme oranı %96,0 bulunmaktadır. Erkek öğrenciler kız öğrencilere göre daha çok dondurma tüketmektedir. Çocukların %94,5'i ayran tüketmeyi sevmekte %90,5'i yoğurt tüketmektedir. Çocukların; %82,0'si peynir tüketmekte, %78,0'i sütü severek içmekte, %66,0'sı tereyağı tüketmekte, %50,0'si kaymak tüketmektedir. Öğrencilerin süt ürünlerinden aldıkları ortalama kalsiyum miktarı 1088,84 mg bulunmuş ve çocuklar için önerilen yeterli alım düzeyine yakın olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışma sonucunda kız öğrencilerin peynir tüketimleri ve yoğurt tüketimleri, erkek öğrencilere kıyasla daha fazla bulunmuştur. Çocukların büyüme ve gelişmesinde erkin rol oynayan süt ürünlerinin tüketiminde ailelerin bu konuda rol model olduklarını düşündürmektedir. This research was conducted to evaluate the milk cunsumption status of the secondary school students. The study was conducted on a voluntary basis for 200 students between 10-15 years of age at Reysaş Logistics Secondary School in Çayırova, Kocaeli. The data of this descriptive cross-sectional study were collected through a 54-item questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of parts, in the first part, a 10-item section containing personal information of students and 44 questions prepared to determine the frequency and amount of dairy products consumption were applied to the students by face-to-face interviews. The ages of the 200 students included in the study were middle school students between the ages of 10-15, 55.5% of the children were male and 44.5% were female. As a result of the study, it was found that there was no significant relationship between male and female students' consumption of milk products and their average calcium intake and height, weight and BMI. 65.5% of the children were mother and 47.5% were graduated from elementary school. 79.0% of the children receive money every day. Children; The mean age was 155.80 ± 10.17, the mean weight was 46.94 ± 11.55, and the mean BMI was 19.97 ± 11.50. Children participating in the study according to BMI averages 15-85. They are in percentil and they are in the normal weight standard. The average monthly income of the families is 37.5% between 2000-3000 TL and the family of 41.5% consists of 4 persons. Children; 81.5% of households have milk every day, 63.5% of them have breakfast every morning and 96.0% of dairy products consume ice cream. Male students consume more ice cream than female students, 94.5% likes to consume buttermilk and 90.5% consume yogurt. Children; 82,0% of cheese consumes, 78.0% of the milk is fondly drinking, 66.0% of it consumes butter, and 50.0% of it consumes cream. The average amount of calcium taken from students' milk products was found to be 1088,84 mg and it was found that the children had sufficient intake level. At the end of the study, female students' cheese consumption and yoghurt consumption were higher than male students. It is thought that families are role models in the consumption of dairy products that play an important role in the growth and development of children.
