Abstract
When the nutritional status of the individuals were evaluated, the percentage energy derived from carbohydrate, protein and fats were found to be average %43,14 %17,9 % and %39,04 respectively. Average daily dietary energy consumption of the individuals was demonstrated to be 1670,0±760,0.When evaluating the occurrence of binge eating disorder, Bulimic Investigatory Test Edinburg indices ranged between 0 and 30 and mean was 8,81±4,72. It was observed that %3,7 of the individuals had binge eating disorder and %96.3 had no binge eating disorder. No significant relationship (p>0,05) was found when the relationship between age, gender, marital status and socio-demographic characteristics and binge eating disorder of the individuals were evaluated statistically.
