Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the self-compassion, depression, anxiety and stress levels of meditators and non-meditators. In line with this goal, Self-Compassion Scale and Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale were applied to collect data. When the relationship between Self-Compassion Scale and Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale scores in the study was examined; It was found that the hypotheses were partially supported. While the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale scores of the non-meditating participants were statistically significantly higher, the expected result could not be obtained for the self-compassion levels. The reason for this may be the content of meditation, as well as the effect of meditation experience processes. It is noteworthy that there are very few studies based on self-compassion, especially in Turkish literature and studies conducted in Turkey, and practices such as meditation are not evaluated. For this reason, more studies are needed on behalf of comparable data. Keywords: Self-compassion, Depression, Anxiety and Stress
