Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı kaygı ve akademik mükemmeliyetçilik konularını narsisistik kişilik özellikleri bağlamında incelemektir. Üniversite öğrencilerini kapsayan bu çalışmanın hedefi üniversite öğrencilerinin narsisistik kişilik seviyelerini kaygı ve akademik mükemmeliyetçilik kapsamlarında incelemektir. Araştırmanın katılımcıları İstanbul'da yaşayan, 18 yaş üstü üniversite öğrencileridir. Bu kapsamda sosyal medya platformlarından online anketler öğrencilere iletilmiş ve 404 üniversite öğrencisinden veriler toplanmıştır. Her katılımcıdan araştırmaya katılım için onam formu doldurması istenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde IBM SPSS Statistics 24.00 programı kullanılarak analizler yapılmıştır. Sürekli değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin değerlendirilmesinde Pearson korelasyon analizi kullanılmış olup, korelasyon katsayıları ve güç ilişkisi değerlendirilmiştir. İki kategorik değişkenler arasındaki farklılıklar için Bağımsız Örneklem T testi, ikiden fazla kategorik değişkenler arasındaki farklılıklar için ise Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (Anova) yapılmış olup, post hoc test olarak Tukey HSD testi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonrasında ulaşılan bulgulara göre; durumluk kaygı ile sürekli kaygı, narsisistik kişilik, otorite, kendine yeterlilik, üstünlük, teşhircilik, sömürücülük, kendini beğenme ve hak iddia etme arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı gözlenmiştir. Sürekli kaygı ile narsisistik kişilik, otorite, kendine yeterlilik, üstünlük, teşhircilik, sömürücülük, kendini beğenme ve hak iddia etme arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı gözlenmiştir. Akademik mükemmeliyetçilik ile narsisistik kişilik, otorite, kendine yeterlilik, teşhircilik, kendini beğenme ve hak iddia etme arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu gözlenmiştir. The aim of this research is to examine anxiety and academic perfectionism in the context of narcissistic personality. The aim of this study, which includes university students, is to examine the narcissistic personality levels of university students in the context of anxiety and academic perfectionism. The sample of the research is university students over the age of 18 living in Istanbul. In this context, online surveys were sent to students from social media platforms and data were collected from 404 university students. Each participant was asked to fill out a consent form to participate in the study. In the analysis of the data, analyzes were made using the IBM SPSS Statistics 24.00 program. Pearson correlation analysis was used to evaluate the relationship between continuous variables, correlation coefficients and power relationship were evaluated. Independent Sample T test was used for the differences between two categorical variables, and One Way Analysis of Variance (Anova) was used for the differences between more than two categorical variables, and Tukey HSD test was used as a post hoc test. According to the findings obtained after the analysis; It was observed that there was no significant relationship between state anxiety and trait anxiety, narcissistic personality, authority, self-sufficiency, superiority, exhibitionism, exploitation, self-love and claiming rights. It was observed that there was no significant relationship between trait anxiety and narcissistic personality, authority, self-sufficiency, superiority, exhibitionism, exploitation, self-love and claiming rights. There is a moderately significant positive correlation between academic perfectionism and narcissistic personality, authority, self-sufficiency, exhibitionism, self-love and entitlement; It has been observed that there is a weakly significant positive relationship between superiority and exploitation.
