Abstract
Bu çalıĢma, hemĢirelik bölümü öğrencilerinin kadına yönelik Ģiddet tutumlarını ve bu tutumlara etki eden faktörleri belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıĢtır. Tanımlayıcı nitelikteki çalıĢmanın evrenini, Okan Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi HemĢirelik bölümüne devam eden 192 öğrenci oluĢturmuĢtur. Örneklem seçimine gidilmeden evren üzerinde çalıĢılmak istenmiĢ, ancak veri toplama tarihlerinde devamsızlık yapan ve çalıĢmaya katılmak istemeyen öğrencilerin olması nedeniyle 152 (%79,2) öğrenci örneklemi oluĢturmuĢtur. Veri toplama iĢlemine baĢlamadan önce etik kurul onayı alınmıĢ; araĢtırmanın verileri Mayıs-Haziran 2017 tarihleri arasında toplanmıĢtır. Veriler, demografik ve ailesel özelliklerine yönelik anket formu ve bireylerin kadına yönelik Ģiddet tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla Kanbay (2016) tarafından geliĢtirilmiĢ olan 'ĠSKEBE Tutum Ölçeği' ile elde edilmiĢtir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde, sayı-yüzdelik hesaplamaları, Kruskal Wallis testi, Man Whitney U testi, independent t testi ve Anova testleri kullanılmıĢtır. ÇalıĢmaya katılan öğrencilerin %80,3‟ü kız, %42,8‟i ikinci sınıf öğrencisi ve %53,3‟ü 21-23 yaĢ grubundadır. Öğrencilerin %53,9‟u aile içi sorunlarda, %61,8‟i eğitim-öğretim konularında ve %34,9‟u parasal konularda tüm aile bireylerinin ortak karar aldığını belirtmiĢ; %2,6‟sı aile iliĢkilerinin kötü olduğunu ve %5,9‟u aile içinde Ģiddete tanık olduğunu/maruz kaldığını ifade etmiĢtir. Öğrencilerin ĠSKEBE Tutum Ölçeği puan ortalaması 127,76±21,52 olarak bulunmuĢtur. Öğrencilerin cinsiyetleri ve ailede parasal konularda kimin söz sahibi olduğu ile ĠSKEBE Tutum ölçeği ve alt ölçek puan ortalamaları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı iliĢki saptanmıĢ (p<0,05), diğer değiĢkenlerle anlamlı iliĢki bulunmamıĢtır (p>0,05). ÇalıĢmadan elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda, hemĢirelik öğrencilerinin eğitimleri sırasında kadına yönelik Ģiddet konusundaki farkındalıklarının arttırılması amacıyla müfredatlarında konuya iliĢkin eğitimlerin arttırılması önerilmektedir. This study was made in order to determine the attitudes of nursing students towards violence against the women and the factors affected their attitudes. 192 students studying in the Nursing Department of Okan University Faculty of Health Sciences were formed the universe of the descriptive study. It was desired to work on the universe of the study before selecting the samples, however, 152 (79, 2%) students were formed the sample despite the fact that there was some students who was absent from the university and didn‟t want to participate the study within the data collection period. Ethics committee approval was received before the data collecting process, the data of study were obtained between May-June 2017. The data were obtained by questionnaire form included the demographic and familial particularities and by 'ĠSKEBE Attitude Scale' which was developed by Kanbay (2016) in order to determine the individual's attitudes towards violence against women. Number-percentage calculations, Kruskal Wallis test, Man Whitney U test, independent t test and Anova test were used in evaluation of the data. 80, 3% of the students participated in the study were female, 42,8% of them were secondary class students and 53, 3% of them were in the group of 21-23 ages. 53,9% of students signified that all family members make a joint decision on family matters, 61,8% of them on education issues and 34, 9% of them on monetary issues. 2,6% of them stated poor family relationships and 5,9% of them stated being witnessed/exposed to domestic violence. The ĠSKEBE Attitude Scale Point Average of students was found 127,76±21,52. It was determined that there was a statistically significant relationship between the gender of the students and the dominant family member on monetary issues, and, average score of ĠSKEBE Attitude Scale and SubScale (p<0,05) no significant relationship was found with other variables (p>0, 05). According to the results obtained from the study, it is suggested that education on this subject within nursing students‟ curriculum should be enhanced in order to increase their awareness of violence against women.
