Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen görüşlerinden yola çıkarak çağdaş sınıf yönetiminde öğrencilerin düşünme becerilerinin üst düzeye çıkarılmasında, öğretmen ve okul yöneticilerinin rolünün belirlenmesidir. Nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılan bu araştırmaya katılan öğretmenler çalışma grubu olarak ifade edilmektedir. Bu araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 2017-2018 öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Bahçelievler, Bakırköy ve Zeytinburnu ilçelerinde resmi okullarda görev yapmakta olan otuz öğretmen olarak belirlenmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu tercih edilmiştir. Toplanan veriler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuş ve veriler kategoriler haline getirilmiştir. Analizi yapılan verilerden elde edilen bulgulara katılımcıların görüşleri eklenmiştir. Ayrıca bulgularda farklı araştırmalardan elde edilen sonuçlar ve karşılaştırmalara da yer verilmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre derslikteki sıralarda, sınıfın belirli köşelerinde, duvarlarda, sınıf atmosferinde, sınıfların genel planlanmasında fiziksel düzenlemelere ihtiyaç vardır. Öğretmen özellikleri ve öğretmen davranışları açısından davranışsal düzenlemelere gidilmelidir. Plan-Program çalışmalarında etkinlikler ve hedefler ön plana çıkarılmalıdır. Öğrenciler arası ve öğretmen-öğrenci arası ilişkisel düzenlemelere önem verilmelidir. Düşünmeyi sağlayan akademik olan ve akademik olmayan davranışlar tespit edilmiş olup öğretmenler bu davranışlar ile ilgili çalışmalar yapmalıdırlar. Düşünmeyi durduran öğrenciye karşı ve derse karşı davranışlar ile ilgili yine öğretmenler tedbirler alıp, daha dikkatli davranmalıdırlar. Okul yöneticileri ise okulla ilgili ve paydaşlarla ilgili çağdaş sınıf yönetiminde öğrencilerin düşünme becerilerine katkı sağlayacak çalışmalar yürütmelidirler
INVESTIGATION OF THE ROLE OF TEACHERS AND SCHOOL MANAGERS IN TEACHING OPINIONS IN THE UPPER LEVEL OF THINKING SKILLS IN CONTEMPORARY CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT The aim of this study is to determine the role of teachers and school administrators in maximizing students' thinking skills based on the opinions of teachers in contemporary classroom management. The qualitative research method is used as a study group of teachers participating in this research. The study group of this study was determined as thirty teachers working in official schools in Bahçelievler, Bakırköy and Zeytinburnu districts of İstanbul in 2017-2018 academic year. Semi-structured interview form was used as data collection tool. The collected data were subjected to content analysis and the data were categorized. The opinions of the participants were added to the findings obtained from the analyzed data. In addition, the results obtained from different researches and comparisons are included. According to the results of the research, physical arrangements are needed in the classrooms, in certain corners of the classroom, on the walls, in the classroom atmosphere and in the general planning of the classes. Behavioral arrangements should be made in terms of teacher characteristics and teacher behaviors. Activities and objectives should be brought to the fore in Plan-Program studies. Relational arrangements between students and teacher-student should be given importance. Academic and non-academic behaviors that provide thinking are identified and teachers should work on these behaviors. Again, teachers should take precautions and behave more carefully about the behaviors against the vii students who stop thinking. School principals, on the other hand, should carry out studies that will contribute to the thinking skills of students in contemporary classroom management.
