Abstract
In this study, the 'Relational Screening Model' was used to examine the relationship between the quality of life and psychological resilience of parents with special needs and those who do not have special needs children. In the study, Demographic Information Form, Short Psychological Robustness Scale and Beach Center Family Quality of Life Scale-Normal were used. As a result of the research, it was found that the perception of parenting, emotional competence and physical/financial/material competence of parents with normal children was higher than the perception of parents with special needs children. As a result of this research, it was determined that there is no relationship between family interaction, parenting, emotional competence and physical/financial/material competence and the age of the parent, which is the psychological robustness and family quality of life scale of parents with normal children and special needs children. In general, it was found that women's perception of family interaction, parenting, physical/financial/material adeuff from parents with normal children was higher than that of men, while parents with special needs children did not differ by gender. However, it was found that the perception of family interaction, parenting, emotional competence and physical/financial/material adequacy of university and above graduates from parents with normal children was higher than that of six graduates of the university, while parents with special needs children had a higher perception of physical/financial/material adequacy than those who graduated only from university and above. Overall, parents with higher income levels were found to have higher psychological stability than those with low income levels, while parents with special needs children had higher psychological stability than those with low income levels.
