Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, annelerin benimsemiş oldukları ebeveynlik biçimleri ile çocuklarında karşılaştıkları duygusal ve davranış problemleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla beraber, araştırma değişkenleri olan ebeveynlik stilleri ve çocukların davranış problemlerinin sosyo-demografik özelliklerle olan ilişkisi de incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 8-12 yaş arası çocuğu bulunan 250 anne oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak sosyo-demografik özellikleri belirlemek amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu, annelerin ebeveynlik stillerini belirlemek amacıyla Aile Hayatı ve Çocuk Yetiştirme Tutumları Ölçeği ve çocuklarda rastlanan problemleri tespit etmek amacıyla Güçlük ve Güçlükler Anketi kullanılmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen verilere göre, ebeveynlik stillerinin alt boyutlarının çocuklardaki davranış problemlerini yordadığı görülmektedir.
The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between the parenting forms that mothers have adopted and the emotional and behavioral problems of children faced by mothers. For this purpose, the relationship between parenting styles with research variables and socio-demographic characteristics of children's behavioral problems have also been examined. The sampling of the study consisted of 250 mothers with children aged 8-12 years. The personal information form prepared by the researcher in order to determine the socio-demographic characteristics was used as a data collection tool, the family life and parenting attitudes scale was used to determine the parental styles of mothers and challenge and difficulties questionnaire was used to detect problems encountered in children.According to the data obtained as a result of the research, the sub dimensions of the parenting styles may predict children's behavior problems.
