Abstract
Bel ağrısı oldukça yaygın ve önemli bir sağlık sorunudur. Sağlık personeli diğer gruplara göre daha fazla bel ağrısı yaşamaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı, bir eğitim hastanesi ameliyathane çalışanlarında bel ağrısı görülme durumunun, bunu etkileyen faktörlerin ve bel ağrısının günlük aktivitelerine etkilerinin incelenmesidir. Bu çalışma tanımlayıcı nitelikte olup, 2-31 Ocak 2018 tarihleri arasında Ankara'da bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesi ameliyathanesinde çalışan doktor, hemşire, anestezi teknisyenleri, cerrahi teknisyenleri ve yardımcı personeller ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri Sağlık Çalışanlarının Sosyo-Demografik ve Bel Sağlığına Yönelik Özelliklerini Belirleme Soru Formu ile Oswestry Bel Ağrısı Engellilik İndeksi Ölçeği (OBAEİ) kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler ''IBM SPSS StatisticsVersion 20'' paket programında analiz edilmiş, verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, sayı, yüzde ve ortalama ile gruplar arasındaki farklılıklar incelenirken Mann Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis-H Testleri kullanılmıştır. Ameliyathane çalışanlarının yıllık bel ağrısı prevalansı %81,4 bulunmuştur. Ameliyathane çalışanlarının %40,6'sı bel bölgesinde en fazla zorlanma hissettiği durumun uzun süre ayakta kalmak olduğunu bildirmiştir. Ameliyathane çalışanlarının %51,9'unda bel ağrısının yaşamlarında önemli problem oluşturmadığı, %40'ında hafif derecede kısıtlama oluşturduğu ve %8,1'inde ileri derecede kısıtlama oluşturduğu saptanmıştır. Kadınlarda, hemşirelerde, meslekte 10 yıl üzerinde çalışanlarda, çalışma ortamında çok stres yaşayanlarda, kronik hastalığı olanlarda, günde 8 saatten fazla çalışanlarda, doğum yapanlarda ve bel ağrısına yönelik tanı almış olanlarda OBAEİ puan ortalamaları daha yüksek bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Low back pain is a common and serious health problem. Health personnel have more back pain than other groups. The aim of this study is to examine the presence of low back pain in operating room employees in a training hospital, the factors which affect low back pain and how low back pain effects their daily activities. This descriptive study has been carried out between the dates of January 2-31, 2018 in Ankara for doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists and surgical technicians working in a training and research hospital operating room. The data of the study have been collected by using the Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Index Questionnaire with the Questionnaire on Determining the Characteristics of the Health Care Workers about Socio-Demographic and Waist Health. Obtained data have been analyzed by IBM SPSS StatisticsVersion 20 program ' by considering dependent and independent variables, In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, number, percentage and mean differences between the groups have been examined and Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis-H Tests have been used. The prevalence of annual back pain was 81, 4%. It has been determined that the situation in which the operating room employees felt the most difficulty in the waist area was to stay standing for a long time (40,6%). In 51,9% of the operating room employees, it has been found that low back pain did not constitute a significant problem in their lives, had a slight restriction in 40% and severe restriction in 8,1%. The mean OBAEI score has been found to be higher in women, in nurses, in those working over 10 years on the profession, in those working in stressful working environment, in employees with chronic diseases, in those who work more than 8 hours a day.
