Bağlanma stilleri ve algılanan sosyal destek ile psikolojik dayanıklılık arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Aile, Çalışma ve Sosyal Hizmetler Bakanlığı bünyesinde çalışmakta olan meslek elemanlarının psikolojik dayanıklılık düzeyleri ile bağlanma stilleri ve algılanan sosyal destek düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesini amaçlamıştır. Söz konusu araştırma için çalışma evrenini Kocaeli Aile, Çalışma ve Sosyal Hizmetler İl Müdürlüğü ve İl Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı kuruluşlarda çalışmakta olan 148 meslek elemanı (psikolog, sosyal çalışmacı, psikolojik danışman, sosyolog, öğretmen, çocuk gelişim uzmanı) ve Sosyal Hizmet Merkezlerini Güçlendirme ve Destekleme Projeleri kapsamında çalışmakta olan proje personeli (çocuk eğitici, tercüman ve hizmet aracısı) oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem grubunu ise araştırmayı katılmayı kabul eden 79 meslek elemanı ve proje personeli oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Yakın ilişkilerde Yaşantılar Envanteri-II, Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği ve Psikolojik Dayanıklılık Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi SPSS 23.00 programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen genel bulgulara göre, katılımcıların psikolojik dayanıklılık düzeyleri demografik değişkenlere (cinsiyet, yaş, hizmet süresi, meslek grubu ve eğitim düzeyi) göre farklılık göstermemektedir. Kaygılı bağlanma stili ile psikolojik dayanıklılık arasında negatif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Algılanan sosyal destek ile psikolojik dayanıklılık toplam puanları arasında herhangi bir ilişki bulunmamakla birlikte algılanan sosyal desteğin aile ve özel bir insan alt boyutu ile psikolojik dayanıklılık arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular ilgili literatür kapsamında tartışılmıştır.

This research aimed to investigate the relationship between the psychological hardiness, attachment styles and perceived social support levels of professional working under the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services. Target population for the research in question consists of 148 professional staff (psychologist, social worker, psychological counselor, sociologist, teacher, child development specialist) working in organizations affiliated to Kocaeli Family, Labor and Social Services Provincial Directorate and project staff (child educator, interpreter and intermediary service provider) working within the scope of Supporting Social Service Centers. The sample group consists of 79 professional staff and project staff who agreed to participate in the research. Personal Information Form, Experiences in Close Relationships-Revised, Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale and Psychological Hardiness Scale were used as data collection tools. The data were analyzed using SPSS 23.00 program. According to the general findings obtained as a result of the study, the level of psychological hardiness levels of the participants do not differ by demographic variables (gender, age, months/years of social work, profession and degree). A negative correlation was found between anxious attachment style and psychological hardiness. Although there is no correlation between perceived social support and psychological hardiness total scores, there is a positive corelation perceived social support from a family and a private person and psychological hardiness. Findings obtained from the research are discussed within the context of the related literature.
