Abstract
Araştırmanın amacı, okul öncesi dönemde 36-72 ay arası çocuğu olan annelerin, ebeveyn tutumları ile çocuklarının öz bakım becerileri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmada tanımlayıcı istatistik yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunun oluşturulması için tesadüfi örneklem yöntemi kullanılarak araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü okul öncesi döneme devam eden çocukların annelerine Ebeveyn Tutum Ölçeği ile Öz Bakım Becerileri Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Yapılan uygulama sonrasında elde edilen verilerin aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde SPSS 20.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda çocukların cinsiyetlerinin öz bakım becerileri ve ebeveyn tutumu üzerinde etkili olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yaşla ilgili bakıldığında çocuğun yaşının öz bakım becerileri üzerinde etkili olduğu, ebeveyn tutumları üzerinde etkili olmadığı sonucu belirlenmiştir. Öğrenim durumu değişkeninin hem öz bakım becerileri hem de ebeveyn tutumu üzerinde etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Annenin mesleğinin ebeveyn tutumunda ve çocuğun öz bakım becerilerinde etkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Ailenin aylık gelirinin öz bakım becerilerinde ve ebeveyn tutumunda etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ailenin ekonomik durumunun ise öz bakım becerilerinde ve ebeveyn tutumunda etkili olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Ailenin ev sahibi olup olmama durumunun öz bakım becerilerini etkilediği sonucu belirlenirken ebeveyn tutumunu etkilemediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ebeveyn tutumu ile öz bakım becerileri arasındaki ilişkiye bakıldığında da demokratik ve izin verici tutuma sahip olan ebeveynlerin çocuklarının öz bakım becerilerinin olumlu düzeyde geliştirdiği belirlenirken tersi durumda olumsuz etkilendiği bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarından hareketle ebeveyn tutumu ile öz bakım becerileri arasındaki ilişkinin araştırıldığı çalışmalara ihtiyaç duyulduğu belirtilebilir. Bu şekilde araştırma sonucunun başka araştırmalarla kıyaslanması mümkün olabileceği gibi konuya yönelik farkındalık düzeyinin artacağı ön görülmektedir. The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between parental attitudes of mothers with children aged 3-6 years in preschool and their children's self-care skills. For this purpose, descriptive statistics method was used in the research. The Parental Attitude Scale and the Self-Care Skills Scale were applied to the mothers of preschool children who volunteered to participate in the research by using the random sampling method to form the sample group of the research. The arithmetic mean and standard deviation values of the data obtained after the application were calculated. SPSS 20.0 package program was used to evaluate the data. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that the gender of the children did not have an effect on their self-care skills and parental attitudes. Regarding age, it was determined that the age of the child was effective on self-care skills but not on parental attitudes. It was concluded that the variable of educational status was effective on both self-care skills and parental attitude. It has been found that the mother's profession is effective on the parental attitude and the child's self-care skills. It has been determined that the monthly income of the family is effective on self-care skills and parental attitudes. It has been determined that the economic status of the family is not effective on self-care skills and parental attitude. While it was determined that the family's home ownership affects self-care skills, it was concluded that it did not affect the parent's attitude. Considering the relationship between parental attitude and self-care skills, it was found that the children of parents with democratic and permissive attitudes developed their children's self-care skills at a positive level, while it was negatively affected in the opposite case. Based on the results of the research, it can be stated that there is a need for studies investigating the relationship between parental attitude and self-care skills. In this way, it is possible to compare the results of the research with other studies and it is foreseen that the level of awareness on the subject will increase.
