Abstract
Çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin %47,9‟u 17-20 yaş grubunda olduğunu, %33,1‟i adet ağrısı nedeniyle doktora başvurduğunu, %61‟i ağrı kesici ilaç kullandığını ve %46,6‟sı ağrısının şiddetinin 7 ve üzerinde olduğunu belirtmiştir. Öğrencilerin %40,5‟i ağrının adet ile başladığını, %48,7‟si adetin ilk 2-3 günü ağrının sürdüğünü ve %57,2‟si ağrısını geçirmek için karnına ılık uygulama yaptığını ifade etmiştir. Öğrencilerin DEÖ puan ortalaması 133,12±19,91 olarak bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin yaş grubu, sigara içme, çay/kahve/kola tüketme ve egzersiz yapma durumu ile DEÖ puan ortalaması arasında anlamlı farklılık saptanmamıştır (p>0,05). Öğrencilerin devam ettikleri bölüm, adet ağrısı nedeniyle doktora başvurma, ağrı kesici kullanma durumları, adet ağrısının şiddeti, ağrının başlama zamanı, ağrısının süresi ve ağrı kesici ilaç dışında herhangi bir yöntem kullanma durumu ile DEÖ puan ortalaması arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık saptanmıştır (p<0,05). Genç kızların adet ağrısının normal bir durum olmadığı ve dismenoreyle baş etme konusunda neler yapabilecekleri konusunda bilgilendirilmesi önerilmektedir. Anahtar kelimeler: Dismenore, Öğrenci, Dismenore etkilenmişlik düzeyi.
This study was conducted to determine the dysmenorrhea status and the influencing factors of female students studying at health sciences faculties. The universe of the descriptive and cross-sectional work was created by the 1013 female students who attended the Faculty of Health Sciences of a foundation university in the Anatolian region of Istanbul in the fall semester of 2017-2018. The sample of the study was composed of 526 students determined according to the sample calculation formula in case the universe is certain. Data were obtained from the socio-demographic data form and the Effects of Dysmenorrhea Scale (EDS) developed by Gün and Demirci (2014). In the evaluation of the data, Kruskal-wallis, Anova test and independent t test were used for number-percentage calculations. Of the students who participated in the study, 47,9% were in the age group of 17-20 years, 33,1% of them referred to the doctor for pain, 61% of them were using pain medication and 46.6% of them were 7 or more . 40.5% of the students stated that their pain started with menstruation, 48,7% of them had a pain in the first 2-3 days and 57.2% of them had a warm application in their stomach to spend their pain. The mean score of the EDS was 133,12±19,91. No significant difference was found between the age group of the students, smoking, tea / coffee / cola consumption and exercise status and the average of the EDS scores (p> 0,05). A statistically significant difference was found between the part that the students went on the doctor's visit due to menstrual pain, the use of painkillers, the severity of menstrual pain, the time of onset of pain, the duration of pain and the use of any method other than painkillers (p<0,05). Young girls are advised that menstruation is not a normal condition and should be informed about what they can do to cope with dysmenorrhea. Key words: Dismenore, Student, Dismenore affected level.
