Türkiye'de 2010-2020 yılları arasında kadın ve spor başlığı üzerine yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin içerik analizi

Abstract

'Kadın ve spor' kavramı tüm dünyada her geçen gün önem kazanmaktadır. Artan önem derecesi, konuya yönelik bilimsel alanda daha fazla çalışmayı gerekli kılmaktadır. Bu başlangıç noktasından hareketle gerçekleştirilen bu tez çalışmasının amacı, 'kadın ve spor' kavramları ile ilgili yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin (2010-2020) içeriklerinin analiz edilmesidir. Nitel yapıda olan bu araştırmada, verilerin analizinde belgesel tarama yöntemlerinden içerik çözümlemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. 2010 ile 2020 yılları arasında Ulusal Tez Merkezi'nde yer alan ve konu başlığında 'spor' geçen 5851 lisansüstü tez taranmıştır. İçeriğinde 'kadın ve spor' barındıran bu tezlerden çalışmaya dahil edilen 378 tezin 64'ü doktora, 2'si tıpta uzmanlık ve 312'si yüksek lisans olup belirlenen çeşitli ölçütler esas alınarak analiz edilmiştir. SPSS 24.0 programına aktarılan veriler, yüzdelikler, frekans dağılımları ve ki-kare analizleri ile yorumlanmıştır. Bunun sonucunda; spor konulu tezlerin genel artışının 'kadın ve spor' başlığında yazılan tez sayılarındaki artıştan daha fazla olduğu görümektedir. Tezlerin çoğunlukla kadınlar tarafından yazıldığı (%62,43), buna karşılık danışmanlıkların ise büyük bir çoğunluğunun erkekler tarafından yapıldığı görülmektedir (%71,43). Ağırlıklı olarak doktora tezlerinde Profesör Dr. ünvanlı , yüksek lisans tezlerinde ise Dr. Öğretim Üyesi ve Doçent Dr. ünvanlı öğretim üyelerinin danışmanlık yaptığı görülmektedir. Tamamlanan tezlerin %89,42'lik kısmının nicel ağırlıklı yapıda olduğu, nitel yöntemlerle yapılan çalışmaların ise sayıca yetersiz olduğu gözlemlenmiştir (%10,58). Bu tezlerin ağırlıklı olarak lisanslı sporcu gruplarının (%48,68) ve sedanterlerin (%40,48) örneklem alınarak yazıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Bundan sonra 'kadın ve spor' konuları üzerine hazırlanacak olan tezlerin konu çeşitliliğini arttırmak amacıyla, spor yöneticileri, hakemler veya antrenörler gibi örneklem gruplarının farklılaştırılarak üzerinde yoğunlaşılmasının gerekli olduğu düşünülmektedir. The increasing degree of importance necessitates further studies in the scientific field on the subject. The aim of this thesis study, which is carried out from this starting point, is to, The aim of this study is to analyze the content of postgraduate theses (2010-2020) on the concepts of women and sports. In this qualitative study, content analysis method, one of the documentary scanning methods, was used in the analysis of the data. Between 2010 and 2020, 5851 postgraduate theses in the National Thesis Center with 'sport' in the title were scanned. Among these theses, which include 'Women and Sports', 64 of the 378 theses included in the study were doctoral, 2 were specialization in medicine and 312 were master's degrees, and were analyzed on the basis of various criteria. Data transferred to SPSS 24.0 program were interpreted with percentages, frequency distributions and chi-square analysis; It is seen that the general increase in thesis on sports is higher than the increase in the number of theses written under the title of 'Women and Sports'. It is seen that the theses are mostly written by women (62.43%), whereas the majority of the Consultations are done by men (71.43%). Mainly in his PhD theses, Professor Dr. Titled, in the master's theses, Dr. Faculty Member and Associate Professor Dr. It is seen that titled faculty members provide consultancy. It has been observed that 89.42% of the completed theses are of a quantitative nature, and studies conducted with qualitative methods are insufficient in number (10.58%). It was determined that these theses were mainly written by taking the sample of licensed athlete groups (48.68%) and sedentary (40.48%). In order to increase the subject diversity of the theses to be prepared on women and sports from now on, It is thought that it is necessary to differentiate and focus on sample groups such as sports managers, referees or coaches.
